For what it's worth, I agree with the general consensus here. Heir of Silvertongue's first few chapters do seem a bit typical, but entertaining. And I think the story where it's at now is when it will start to separate itself from the cliches found in many other fics.

Era of Hogwarts on the otherhand feels far more... original and perhaps even more professional or well done. Plenty enjoyable, but a bit more political and less humorous. I'd advocate working on whichever one you want to work on rather than forcing yourself to switch back and forth. More than likely one of the two has a lot more activity and ideas bouncing around in your head, and eventually you will focus more on that one. When one finishes though, you pretty much have to finish the other then.

And don't be shy about trying to force yourself to write more, rather than waiting for it to come to you. Sometimes it's forcing yourself past bits gets you into something else where the writing comes much easier. Even if it is just a scene or direction you won't reach yet.

I guess, the point of what I'm saying is MORE!

Era has more going on in my head, so it'll get more updates than HoS. HoS will be my creative humor outlet, mixed with serious story. I have noticed that forcing myself to write usually gave me great results, and since then writing has come easier. Just the other day I wrote the first scene of HoS (400 words) offhand as a joke. Then it just fit. Besides that, with all of you hounding me, I have to appease my audience. I plan on putting out a chapter a week...I can do it. I managed to write both my newest chapters in a cumulative total of 18 hours or less...and that's with research. Once I get into a rhythm I should be able to get pretty far along.

On the Legilimency thing, would you trust somebody to not only go digging through your child's mind but to also put things in there; Harry also mentioned that the art of Legilimency has developed over the course of the last thousand years which means that it might be something that's been recently discovered in the last few centuries.

I know that somebody suggested visiting Constantinople while he’s in the past and some of the other places you might want Harry to visit might be the Library of Alexandria and the Forbidden City in China, as well as finding away to take a look around in some of the pyramids and visit the empires of Central & South America.

After all the more types of magic that he knows that neither Dumbledore or Voldemort have an understanding of the better chance he has of surviving; also is Harry's going to age while he's in the past or is he going to be stuck in the body of a teenager until he reaches the future?

He will age, but it'll have quite a twist, and no he doesn't return to sixteen upon his return. Not saying more than that.

Also, thanks for the Legilimency idea...I never considered that parents would never let someone do that. Even then, it takes a master Legilimens to do this. Anyone else might fry the other person's mind. Voldemort happens to be a master of Legilimency, and has had over fifty years to improve it, and test it on others to perfect it. Harry gained his knowledge and experience.

Yes, I'd like him traveling around a bit with Rowena. She is supposed to be on the smartest witches ever, well, is going to be anyway... she can get a lot of knowledge going around with Harry to different countries.

Welcome; given the period of history that he's in, is Harry going to continue Voldy's experiments on Legilimency? Here some good sites for Britain during the Middle ages and British history in general.

Thank you =). I'll be studying these closely. Not only that, but we're starting a unit on the Middle Ages in World History. It'll be all review for me (the unit), as I read both chapters closely, but still, anything helps.

First I'm going to finish a HoS update, which I'll probably finish this weekend, and hopefully start an EoH update, but probably next week.

Or my internet was out for two days and I was frustrated with that, not to mention busy with finishing a very large project, thus I didn't work on HoS, but I plan to today.
