I found this while browsing through FFN for HP/NT fics after a few months break from reading fan fiction. It's the first Diablo crossover I've read, but it's pretty well done. I thought some of you might like it.

Do I need to know the Diabloverse?

 

No, not really. The writing is a bit meh though. Tries to be Jbern and fails.

 

I attempted to get through the first chapter.

I find this fic to be mildly amusing.

Yeah, I cringed when reading this, and at least the rest first chapter is written along the same vein.

Will try to finish it and then rate, but so far it's 2/5 tops.

 

I couldn't get past the 1st chapter myself. I didn't like it. 2/5 from me.

 

Way too many small annoyances in this story. Suddenly starts calling Tonks "Dora," is probably the biggest one.

 

Not really since the person warps it so much. The story itself most resembles the anal leakage of a mentally retarded squirrel in possession of a serious kidney and colon infection. It just keeps dribbling out, lasts too long, and makes you just want to take the author to a vet and have him put down.

 

Well Damn that settles it. With this type of endorsement I don't see how I can help but run off and read it right now

 

Knowing nothing about Diablo, I think this premise might interest me a little bit. But, egads! There are so many grammatical mistakes, such an abundance of intrusive, cutesie dialogue, such a discordant flow to this, that it is almost impossible.

The author needs a beta in the worst way. Then we could see if the story is salvageable. 2/5

 

It's never a good sign when I start skipping paragraphs. The story is just... dull. There is no hook. It's like an epilogue that's 5 chapters long.

Nothing big has happened in the story thus far, and it won't happen, since this story is abandoned. I remember reading it (or trying to read it) in 2008.

I may have played Diablo a touch too much, but I think the author took the diabloverse characters too far into his own little world.

Anyway, 3/5.

 

Yeah, this is shit. I didn't actually quit reading until Harry uses a curse he learned the next year and called Lupin 'Uncle Moonhowler', though. Meh. It's horrible. That is all.
