I read this a while back, and found this again when I was browsing through ffnet. I liked it a little, so decided to post this here.

Basically Harry is taken to a near-forgotten school where people learn to fight, gets strong, yadayada---the character conflicts here are reminiscent of Harry's in Dragonmasters by Naia, and its interesting nonetheless.
Cliches would be: Elemental(fire), and pheonix animagus,
though that can be overlooked.

Read it maybe a year ago and it was one of the best HP fanfics I had read at the time. OK, but not in the top ten list.

 

Wow didn't think id be seeing this story again i read it so long ago that i thought it was lost. I liked it incredibly, i thought it was best thing since sliced bread, but then again that was the time for me when nothing was clinche, now i have to say its good but could of been better.

 

I read this story long time ago as well. the fic was the best at that time, but it could'ev made better.

 

its well written, but not well enough written to be in my favourites.

 

Wow...it's been a while since i saw this fic...i don't remember much of it..exceot pi..harry falling for a girl who dies..and a bit of slash in the background...or was that another story?

 

REad this a long time ago... Can still remember a bit of the plot where he falls in love w/ a girl in the new school and the girl gets killed by her own father... It's an OK story.

 

I've had this story in my fav pages for months and months, always like the bare last resort if I'm ultra-bored. I remember that I first saw it and it sounded good, but then I spoiled myself on some reviews and read how it ends and didnt like it, so I never read it.

I still think I will read it one day, maybe...

 

good at the time, complete trash now..

 

it will be good if someone rewrote that fic. about the elementals and how they can controal the nature it self and not conjure anything. they aren't super power at all and that they need to learn to balance the nature, it makes alot of sence. it's a good fic and i like it and if anyone says otherwise, well it's there problem.

 

just be glad that he was using a japanese katana instead of those cleche swords that the noble and ritigious knights. you know those broad swards. this author really know what to do with sward harry kinda like prince of persa, but as good as him. not like those idiot harry where they just swing a weapon and 'woula' 10 enimies another 100 to go. this fic is good and i recomand it.

I love sword...i don't care where their from or what style they are...Their so beautifully crafted with such a simply design that can cause massive damage...I'm starting a collections.

But yea I don't think harry would use a japanese sword... i don't even think he knows they exist.

 

true true, but your talking about the canon. this harry went to a different school with a different headmaster that is about the age of 280 something i think. the stuff he learns is amazing and makes alot of sence and not a superpowerful harry.

anyway i have a set of katana and a japanese dagger. i love japanese stuff because they can make the simplists thing that are wonderous and yet very complex.

Now I know I could just be pulling things outta my arse here but I'm inclined to think if Harry had a sword it would look more like this one.

Crazy idea, I know.
