I was more amused by it than offended. It's two in the morning here and I'm wondering what the fuck kind of sugar you've got in your system to be that happy XD.

 

Its almost 4 am here, and I am sitting in my cruiser bored out of my mind. Mores the pity, I have no sugar in my system as the only place open is the Dunkin' Donuts in the next town and I simply refuse to go in there in uniform. Its a matter of pride.

 

Good, I hope this isn't abandoned like almost all the other Harry/Daphne fics.

Oh my... Someone is itching for a flame. There is no "outlandishly jealous Ron" stagnating the fandom. There is however, a Ron whose jealous and insecure tendencies are proven in canon time and again, and who is simply one of the most worthless characters JKR has created.

That said, I do enjoy positive portrayals of Ron if the author is competent enough. It requires more than a little suspension of belief, but if an author is able to make me like Ron in a fic, I wouldn't have any doubts about his/her calibre.

This one didn't. It's as simple as that.

 

Well after reading previous reviews I was a bit doubtful about this story, but I am glad I did read it. It is written quite well and there are no WTF events till now, but the story is still in its infancy.

I know it has lost a lot of interest just because it is a post-Voldemort story, but like everyone else who I too am interested to know how two boys managed it. That alone will keep readers hanging on I guess...

I don't read strictly Romantic fics usually, but this one seems better than usual crap....

And as it is Harry/Daphne which is my favourite... 4/5

 

This fic is a piece of shit by my high (thanks to DLP) standards.

I couldn't get past the first few chapters of shit.

Harry Potter fanfiction is dying.

I want to kill you for the excessive use of smilies.

 

Purely a story read for the DaphneFactor. 3/5 for poorly developed romance and the obscene fast pace of said romance.

Basically, if the word "Daphne" were replaced with the word "Hannah," I wouldn't read it. Though, the Dumbledore stories are a chuckle-type of entertainment.

Truth. I'm not very fond of this and I'm a pretty hardcore Harry/Daphne shipper. All in all, it seems to be a good plotline that has been developed far too quickly with no thought for drawing it out.

I'll read it solely for the Daphne inclusion, otherwise it's something I'd try to stick with but end up giving up on.

However, a few ofthe characters are quite good and a lot of it isn't really that bad, it's the overly-rushed romance that gets me.

Not a bad story. It gets points for a non-standard pairing and not being terribly egregious with grammar. The Harry/Neville friendship is also a win.

I kind of hope that the author doesn't explain everything at once. I like the fact there hasn't been much in the way of explanation why the Weasley & Dumbledore hate. Sometimes less is more.

I don't like the method how Harry and Daphne decide to date. It seems forced.

My problem with Clell is that he has too many ideas and is working on them all at once. I can see outlining general ideas that come up, but alternating between many different stories?

I think he should take a page from other authors and concentrate on writing and getting ready 1-2 fanfic stories at a time. I believe his stories' quality will get better if he does.

"Marriage Contracts" could be better, but it's still a good, but not great, story that I think suffers from the fact that I think he's sacrificing quality for the sake of quantity. Accordingly, I'll give the story a 3/5 rating.

It was nothing special. Typical Dumbledore/Harry conversation, Ron being an ass and Harry comforting Hermione after Ron breaks up with her. The end gives me the impression that Daphne will now become jealous of Hermione and so on. If that does happen, I'll stop reading. Done waaaaay too many times before.

Like pretty much everyone agrees on, overall it's okay, not great nor crap, but okay.

 

True that. Nothing special at all. The Harry/Albus conflict is contrived. I've got the feeling this is about to turn into a Harry/Hermione/Daphne story.

Edit to add: Yes, I know the story is stated that it's Harry/Daphne, but it's got a Harry/Multi feel now, and I don't like it.

There is too much inexplainable OOCness for my tastes. Yeah, I get it that Ron and Ginny can be jealous bastards, but this fic is totally crushing their character...alongside with everyone else's.

Not even Harry/Daphne pairing can save this one.

Clell finally manages to weave a story of average quality - a feat in itself - and then proceeds to undo it all.

Reminds me of the "Testing Defenses" story. The author of that story and the author of this one both thought it would be funny to allow Hermione to ruin them.

Absolutely not for the library.

 

The last chapter sealed it for me -1/5. Trash bin.

 

Fucking hell. Harry's seventeen years old, and he's got a vulnerable, attractive woman begging him to fuck her?

Well, at least the characterisation of Ron was spot on. Still deserves 1/5 for breaking 'em up in the end.

 

I just finished reading it and like everyone said the second last scene of latest update fucked it up.
