I haven't written any of the News for forever and a day.

Frankly, it wore me down some. Writing smut might seem like fun, and it is to a point, but it's also emotionally and mentally draining. I suppose that I could have throttled back on the sex a bit, but that would have gone against the theme of the story.

I could still see myself going back and working on it some more, but right now it's very much on hold.

 

A Ginny/Gabrielle scene and the story on hold... that's bad news....
You should go back to writing it. Omit the Ginny/Gabrielle, what were you thinking?

 

Mainly I was thinking... "Gee, there's something that hasn't been done over and over again to the point where it's become sickening. Let's give that a try."

I may not read much Ginny, but I have no problem writing her. I've said it before, she can be a worthwhile character when she's treated like an actual person and not a self-insertion fairytale princess.

I never understood the title. I keep picturing all Harry's whores as anchor-women with Harry in weather.

The name is a very bad joke. Huey Lewis and the News once had a big hit called "The Power of Love".

I still can't get the news room out of my head. ("We go live on the scene to Luna Lovegood.")

 

Well... This could be somehow woven into the plot. I dunno, have her dancing naked in the rain? Saying how the pooperdiddle's have gone into mating season and causes everyone to break out in spontaneous orgies?
