Brand new dark!Harry story on FFN.

In hidsight, this is yet another post-OOTP story where Harry starts training in dark arts and ass-kickery, so he could fight back against Voldemort, as well as Dumbledore and his ex friends/spies. Original twist here is that he gets training from the Devil himself.

Well, if we put aside idiotic plot, clished and overpowered Demon-like Harry, nonexistent characterisaation and the most idiotic weapon ever seen in a HP fic, we could maybe call this story fun to read, in a weird StainedFuture sort of way.

Who knows, "Path of Faust" might turn interesting when Harry starts killing people left and right while chasing girls and bashing his former friends. But for now, this stays firmly below average.

 

If it is Stained-Future like then it will only get worse when he starts chasing girls...

At least now it doesnt have any clinically written sex scenes.

 

No, but his Harry has a weapon that looks like an 100-times enlarged Atomic Ant's antenna, leather trench coat that's tied up with chains over his bare chest, wand implanted in his hand and cuban cigar clenched in his teeth. If you can't mutate him into Wolverine or a Jedi, why not make him into Hellboy? After all, it's perfectly logical.

Bah I was going to do the wand implant, but after seeing you say this guy's doing it, and how bad it sounds I may rethink it =(

(Explanation was he can't do wandless magic, but he wanted to bluff folks into thinking he could, so he shrunk the wand and places it inside his arm in the area between his forearm's bones)

 

I don't think Harry's innovative enough to think of stuff like that. He's creative in an "on the fly" way, not planned out and thoughtful.


And if it was REALLY that simple I think others would have done it before (Dumbledore, Voldemort, some other Mage, etc.

 

Other wizards probably didn't do that before because it'd probably be hard to do intricate wand movements, it'd be hard to channel magic through a shrunken wand, or something like that.

 

True, but why would others do it if they already could the normal way =)

Dunno about this story. I like the idea of Harry siding with the Devil, but i dont like the super!Harry in it. He should have gotten gradually stronger and not in 5 min. I can tell you story in one sentence: Harry getting laid and afterward killing all of his enemys.

 

At least his priorities are in order

 

Just read this a minute ago.It's really really rushed, and the guy needs someone to help him with spelling or more specifically punctuation, and to tell him to slow down.

Harry gets way strong too fast, and the whole chapter reads like you're talking to a sorority girl on speed. I like the Faust reference, but it could of been handled a ton better then going off such a throwaway line like "I don't want to be human" from OOTP.

He really botches Dumbles and Ron/Hr by revealing they're spies in such a careless manner. An important plot point is just tossed out like an afterthought

I'll keep up with this just to see how inventive he gets killing everyone, but other then that I'd slap it in unrecommended as well.

 

If you put the wand between the forearms bones i believe the spell would just impact against the wrist bones and then no more hand, god forbid he cast a reducto.. ewww.. gore galore

 

this was physically difficult to read. far far to reminiscent of stained future. i didnt even like the way he portrayed the devil.

It do have some good point tho i like the devil in theis story.

(the devil in this story is kind of gofy. It's first time i see a story with a goofy devil so think its fun)

He shod have writen more of wat happend in hell i have a hard time picturing the fact that all hi did wer train.

(all he dose is arive in hell, get pised of on Dumbeldor &co, then he leve super strong. wat hapend?)

he is in hell for crying out loud shodent he have done somthing fun like going sking, ops no snow o well lava sking? defently a hot sport.

and if it's my spelling thats the problem plz dont coment on it. im not good at writing. its in my gen's so i had hell in school.
