Well this made me chuckle - 1st year Harry who can save & load "game" at any point. Not to mention that he's already planning to learn unforgiveables, so he could torture Malfoy & Snape properly, without repercusions... true, his first attempts with Petrificus Totalus weren't so great, but hell, at least the kid's heart is in the right place

Recomended, even though updates so far were rather slow.

 

Loved it, absolutely bloody loved it. The updates are starting to get a bit quicker as well

 

Brilliant idea! I like that with his new Unlimited Power, Harry's first thought was that he could kill everyone with impunity. Practicing unforgivables on the Slytherins only to load earlier in the day. Ahh... the possibilities. Feels like the fic so far has explained the gimmick... now let's see if we're actually going anywhere.

 

That was pretty cool. This definetly isn't a wussy Harry.

 

This fic had me chuckle for a moment. It'll be interesting to see where he's going to take it.

I remember back in the day of DOS games I used 'save' only in combination with a hex editor... 60 hit-points became 30,000 after 'load'...
The problem with saving/loading your progress in RL is that you're pretty much screwed if you lose interest, because there is no 'quit', only suicide.

 

Still it would be fun to be able to save/load your day. Though it would suck getting to the very end of the day and having to reload to the beginning. Could get rather annoying - like when you've played an hours worth of game without saving then the computer crashes. Damn annoying.

Have to agree with him there. The basic idea may not appear to be half-bad on paper, but it unavoidably falls flat in practise.

 

I found it pretty funny myself, but I have to agree that it wouldn't make it into the library.
