I know i'm going to get bashed to hell and back for posting up a H/G fic on this site, but If you can overlook that detail of this fic I think you will enjoy it. Its a great read over the normal crap where Harry enters a trunk and hides to train or grabs a time turner and spends years by him self just reading books and working out. If you can take the H/G near the end you should give the fic a try.

 

I have this fic on my HD marked as "given up after 28th chapter". Don't remember anything about it, but it must have really pissed me off if I couldn't force myself to finish it after reading more than half of the damn thing.

 

Lol doesent suprize me in the least, about the 28th chapter is when the H/G crap starts.

this was looking like such a good story, then he goes and does something STUPID he tries to merge it with OOTP. while this is a good idea in theory it is just about as crappy as can be in practice. for starters the plotlines were so far out that he is having contradictions start to occur. and then he just goes and decide to introduce umbitch for NO particular reason. stupid stupid stupid

 

This story had a nice start. A very nice start. Then they went back to hogwarts and things seem to go down hill from there. Harry went from being a seasoned soilder to being a antsy teen. I donno being in the army like that changes a person and I don't mean they just start swearing at everything.

Then of course there is the Ginny-is-the-one-for-him. God that was bad.

Frankly I couln't get past chapter 22 before I dropped it from boredom. Besides it was getting too mushy for me.
