This is a Dragon Age/HP cross I found a while ago that I've been keeping an eye on. Basic premise is that Anders stumbled into a convenient plot device while wondering around near death and ends up dying in the HP verse. Justice, in a bit of a panic over not being able to return to the fade, jumps to Harry who finds the body.

All that said I've been hesitant to post this because till now it's been a bit of a canon rehash, not completely but nothing overly new. The Author's reasons was that Justice was too weak from near death the actively talk to Harry or interact with anything, so things go more or less in the same vain, with some notable exceptions.

The reason I'm posting it now is because, if the author is to be believed, things will start changing alot more rapidly now. The most recent chapter has both Harry and Justice working together and going off with the port key to the ambush. Hopefully the next chapter will be all kinds of awesome.

As for Romance, the Author hasn't decided who to pair Harry with yet. He's leaning towards either Luna or Ginny at the moment, but he has stated that if anybody could give him a good idea about why Harry and Fleur would interact more he wouldn't be adverse to trying that way either.

All that said this gets a solid 5/5 for me.

Dragon Age/HP is not common, so I had to take a look.

The story is, to be perfectly frank, mind-numbingly boring. I continued reading only because I wanted to have a more complete picture.

The amount of canon-rehash is truly abominable, Justice not making himself more obvious sooner because he is "recovering" was bullshit. The author was just lazy.

I felt like I was just reading Goblet of Fire with a few minor changes. Technically, the writing is fine, but it feels like half of it is straight out of the books. Harry also changes far too little for having a Spirit of Justice/Vengeance inside his head. Those problems aside, the later chapters are more interesting, but the story was not nearly as good as I feel it could have been.

The later chapters are 4/5 material, but the earlier chapters definitely aren't.

3/5 from me. It's a good story, but the first chapters detract far too much in my opinion for it to be library worthy.

Half of it is from the book. ;D

I think it might get more interesting as it goes on, or maybe not. So far, I'm reluctant to give any rating, as I think the next chapter should be used to decide it, with the whole ending of he GoF confrontation.
Also, I don't understand how I feel about
    Cedric being left to survive.
It was performed as if on the side, but not unbelievably. Does it give something to the fic? There was a promise it will, but will it really?

Is it necessary to have any knowledge of the Dragon Age universe before reading this, or can you just pick it up anyway? Because I have no idea about Dragon age, but I do need something to read.

Keeping in mind I skimmed a fair bit of the story (seriously, really bad case of canon recapping), you don't need to know anything about Dragon Age really. You'll be extremely confused in the first chapter, but that is almost entirely irrelevant to the story itself aside from setting up the crossover.

Just think of Justice as sort of a Denarian or something, but no where near as cool. He is the spirit of Justice that inhabits peoples bodies and gives them some extra powers.

(Personally, I wouldn't read t I were you at the moment. You'd be better off just reading GoF again. It might get more interesting in the next few updates, but really nothing special at the moment.)

So yeah, most of this is just book 4. Latest chapter was mildly interesting, but really not anything amazing. I'll need to see more, but at the moment it's really just a two or three out of five.

It is a complete reiteration of canon. Not just canon rehash, that I can bear if done well, no the case is here that of complete canon copy-paste. Major chunks of the fourth book appear in the story so much so that there is hardly any author input.

As the chapter number increases, you can find some of the author's own work. But still the majority of the part is canon. As in copy-paste canon. I don't think this merits as fanfic given that there is so little of the author's own work.

Terrible. The writing is stilted, at least, what isn't stolen directly from canon. The character development is nonexistent, the reaction Harry has to a random spirit invading his conscience is smoothed over in a single paragraph.... 1/5
