I like it when badly written stories are posted, because then I can read Warlocke going Warlocke and it brings a smile to my face, chuckles in my belly, and sunshine through my windows.

In other news I'm thinking of starting a series of one shots: "Severus Snape Adventures Down a Plot Hole." This way I can have an acerbic asshole (redundant? Will have to ask jBlaise) go to worlds where I want someone to go and kill all the characters, i.e. BtvS whenever they speak in Buffy-speak, Anita Blake whenever she tries to be an 'independent woman' while being spit roasted, True Blood whenever Sookie is literally shining after dead sex...etc, etc.

 

Hey, leave the Scoobies alone! It's not their fault the Hellmouth has corrupted their speech patterns

It's a bad omen that the author asked his readers what pairing they wanted to see.

What's so hard to understand about that, Harry? Buffy doesn't have a single, angsty, self-righteous leg to stand on. Don't be taken in by her bullshit!

I hate it when authors have a character guilt trip Harry (or anyone with half a brain, really) with a false argument, and he totally buys it, NOT because they meant for him to be tricked, but because the author is too fucking stupid to see the flaw in his/her character's own line of reasoning.

It wasn't the best HP/BTVS croosover I've read but it certainly wasn't the worst. I am intrigued with the mysterious Koan. I am also happy it turned out not to be Uber!Harry. I give it a 3.5/5.

Though Harry seems to have become attached to the Scoobies way too fast. For a guy who was in war you'd think he know the value of emotional distance.

Kaos doesn't even strike me as a misspelling of chaos. Just a really dumb name.

The story is pitiable.

 

I'm even more impressed, since it wasn't an insult.

As cool as King Jason sounds, King Warlocke just sounds like two titles taped together, and I wasn't aware there were any crowns being handed out, so I'm afraid you'll find me quite absent on coronation day.

 

Wow. Color me embarrased.

EDIT: Now I'm tempted to look at any other reviews Warlocke has recently written. Lulzy thread is lulzy.

 

My biggest peeve in crosses like this is how the author tries everything to try and change or minimise Harry's power.

If he isn't going to utilise the potential the HP magic system has, why does he bother making his fic into a crossover?
