If Chronos keeps killing Harry the clock will just reset. And when Harry dies when time resets, it will just reset again and again. It will never fix the clock. It should break the the clock completely.
I know Chronos has his own plans, but killing Harry destroys his goals as well.

As far as I know, the swords that Chronos and his soldier-people have can permanently kill Harry (that new scar he has on his heart from when he died in the beginning?).

Anyway, I thought it was very good over all. Unfortunately, some scenes (the Gringotts scene with the treaty) were overly dramatic and almost cringe-worthy. Besides that though, this is definitely one of the best things being written right now, and I will definitely be waiting for updates.

    4.5/5

Jesus, that took a while. I'm gonna have to go back and reread the fic. (oh darn, what a shame)

I'll edit in with comments later.

A very fine update, Joe. While it might have been a pain to write, it's always nice to be able to sit down to read uninterrupted, continuously for twenty minutes or so, especially with quality such as this.

Why wouldn't Dumbledore have followed him into Atlantis? He was obviously there to help, and I would think he'd be more than willing to help save the world.

Aye, it becomes a pain to write after about the 9,000 word mark. The whole thing starts to feel too long-winded, too much of everything. But perserverance pays off in kind. Positive responses have been very positive.

Dumbledore has a different game to play - primarily the defence of Hogwarts. If we recall earlier in the story Harry bumping into Neville, he gave Neville a task that involves Dumbledore. Should be good to see all that come to fruition.

    Thanks for reviewing, mate.

I have to say - this is by far my favorite time travel work. Your style of writing is amazing - but more, I love the way you portray the characters, Dumbledore especially. Too many fics I read portray him as a shallow, stupid fellow and not at all how my mind captured his essence. However, you have in my mind captured everything that I imagine when I see him. Powerful, perhaps a bit manipulative (not a negative) yet still working for 'good,' cunning, and intelligent beyond measure.

Anyways, I love your story and can't wait for the next update :)

Nicely done as always, Joe. I'd love to be able to say something seriously thoughtful about this, something that compliments the way you weave the tale... but I've got nothing. Can hardly wait for more, dude.

I didn't like the new chapter. It sort of killed the story.. it was short and the fact that Harry shagged that lady for his powers isn't very believable. I hope your next chapter is more intersting and is longer WAAAAAAYYY longer.

I rather liked it, but if you noticed the AU at the end Lord Potter it said that he had paid only a fraction of the price before he died. Joe keeps referring to his immortal soul as payment, actually, which I think is more than adequate, though that may be metaphorical for something else..

    1. You might notice the chapter title says Interlude. So its not really a chapter.

    2. Harry's "powers" would probably be considered more of a curse. He has had to watch the world burn to ash and his friends die countless times.

    3. Aside from the time bit, most of his power and knowledge has come through lifetimes spent learning, fighting, killing, learning, killing, dieing, starting over, learning, killing, starting over, killing, learning, etc...

    4. Read the damn AN
