No, that would be the class I took for my writing requirement: Poetry as Journalism.

It literally entailed me making up short "poems" once a week, which mostly consisted of writing two random sentences and being "creative" with the return key. I did about 30 minutes of work the entire semester and managed to fulfill my writing requirement with a total of less than two written pages.

I'm betting you still have to write some sort of essays for the Harry Potter classes.

 

A Harry Potter course would be dumb, but at least you know what you're signing up for. In my first year at uni, I took a course called 'The Universe as Art', which was basically Physics for retards, and a completely bullshit course (the most productive thing I did was the outline for my first couple of fanfics).

One of the essay questions on the final exam? "Explain the Big Bang in the manner which it may be taught at Hogwarts." Now that was dumb.

Another questions was "Does this course have a point?", which I can only hope was answered solely in the negative.
