Mad-Eye Moody would totally fit into the Expendables.

I was watching Hunger Games earlier today, and it occurred to me that I've never read a HP/Hunger Games crossover. I think it could be done well. A world where Voldemort has succeeded in taking over, and has managed to destroy most of the muggle population. All the landmass except the Americas have been hidden and the only muggles that are left are the ones in Panem.

The only thing Voldemort has failed to do is get rid of Potter. Despite numerous tries, he was not able to kill Potter until he disappeared from the wizarding world one day.

Voldemort suspected that Potter disappeared into the only remaining muggle areas, and so, instead of destroying it and the last remaining muggles, he staged an uprising, letting the Capitol win. He the started the Hunger Games, and President Snow is his puppet, like Hitler was Grindelwald's. Potter had a hero complex after all, and sooner or later, this should flush him out.

It's almost 3/4 of a century and Potter has still not revealed himself, and Voldemort is getting at the end of his patience. Thus begins the plot at the 74th Hunger Games.

The Snow Queen has female Harry Potter ending up in the Hunger Games time, adopted by the president, then getting summoned back to her original time for the Tri-Wizard-Tournament. Very AU for Harry Potter, with both dark and cracky themes, and a much different tournament.

HP/Kingsman crossover has a lot of possibilities.
Not necessary with Squib!Harry, you can always write magical version of Kingsman. After all, one of the secondary characters slightly reminds you of Draco Malfoy (especially after he failed the train test and threatened to tell his father).

Spiderman Harry Potter swinging inside the castle.

Or Harry Potter is a squib, he works under Filch, a spider fleeing from the basilisk bites him, he becomes spiderman and fights off the crime(Slytherins) at the night, when the halls are dark.

    Or Filch is the Spiderman.

Or better yet, Voldemort is the spiderman. Just like Dock Ock in Superior.

In either case, Dumbledore is Uncle Ben..."With Great Power Comes Greater Good, Harryyyyyy"

I don't really see e point of any of these. Being a wizard makes one already superior to being spiderman. What's the point of the demotion?

Harry could just as easily pick up a broom and fly around instead of wearing a spandex and flinging spider silk and making a mess all around. Although, the hose elves might love him.

I'd like to see more crossovers in the vein of Harry Potter: The Last Avatar.

For those of you not familiar with it, the trappings of HP such as HP characters, Hogwarts, etc. are retained, but the world-building is hugely different and taken from another fandom. In this case, we have Harry Potter and his friends who attend a school of Bending called Hogwarts. Gryffindor is for Fire benders, Slytherin is Water benders, etc.

Often the problem with crossovers is finding a way to keep one from being totally OP compared to the other. This makes that a moot point, since there isn't any 'magic' to begin with as it's replaced with bending from Avatar.

I never really understood the appeal of squib!Harry... Harry Potter without magic is not Harry Potter, it is Filch. The old man with cat and bondage fetish.

Yes, and Filch would be very happy that spiderman would be running around the castle creating a mess of spider silk, which either he or the elves would have to clean up.

Also, everyone else would still be magicals won't they? Just pick up some other wizard and write a story with them as the hero. There's no need to make a Harry a squib, and then the squib a 'spider man'. Wizard trumps spiderman, every time.

Off-topic... Remove the ability to fly from wizards and I honestly think I would pick Spiderman abilities over HP magic.

Really? It would be HP magic hands down for me. Healing, repairing, apparition, portkeys, transfiguration, extremely versatile ways of defending oneself... I could keep going for a while.

These are some of the most obvious advantages to HP magic imo. Also, isn't spiderman kinda limited to... areas of cities with skyscrapers? I don't know much about spiderman too be honest. Can he do anything more than shoot spider webs from his wrists?

Well, he's more powerful, can pretty much hang onto any surface (even upside down) and has super hand-eye-everything else coordination. Not to mention that AFAIK, the spider webs from his wrists aren't used only for movement, but plenty of other stuff.

That said, you probably could have spells for any of these things.

You've got Voldemort, Fleur and Moody already. Not to mention racist midgets. This shit writes itself.

Oh man, the "You're a cunt" speech with both of them in their HP characters would be hilarious.
