The outside inspired it, but I don't think the interior is anywhere near as grand.

 

Just found that High Commission of Australia in London played Gringotts (scroll down).

 

Still less subtle than Tolkien's dwarves.

Looks like. And Ron is too short and Luna is too tall. Why do both Bellatrix and Narcissa have two colors of hair? Otherwise, it all looks pretty good.

 

That's how it was in the movies and most of these appearances are movie not book based.

 

I actually prefer Bellatrix with two colors of hair. Makes her look just a little bit more unhinged, while also making her more attractive. It also makes some sense - after being in Azkaban for 14 years, it's entirely normal for her hair to have grayed due to stress. Narcissa is better with just one though. It doesn't even really make sense for her to have two hair colors. Does she dye it that way? Why?

 

Umbridge does not look enough like a toad and I've never liked the whole Moody eye-holder thing. The artist has clearly just copied their designs from the movies verbatim

I'm not sure what happened with HBP and DH though. Not sure I get them. Maybe it's a darker and edgier AU?

 

HBP was Riddle as a child at his orphanage. I figure DH was a nod to the darkness of the times, rather than a, "This is what happens in this book."

Didn't you mean the opposite? I thought DH was the most blatant about spoilers: Fred, Harry, Voldemort, Moody, Tonks, Dobby and a creature I suppose is meant to be a werewolf have their head on the wall, with Nagini getting out of Bagshot's mouth and the Hallows symbol in the background.

Amazing art for all of them, though, and I agree the GOF one makes a great cover for a fem!Voldemort. My favourite must be CoS, but that's probably my inner Ginny fanboy speaking.
