Meh, this girl isn't bad-looking. I simply don't care for her because the books painted a very different picture in my mind. While she is okay-looking, maybe even reasonably attractive to some, Cho Chang was supposed to be beautiful.

Pretty much the same with Bonnie Wright. She's not an ugly mo'fo, but she's not Beauty Queen either. And again, in canon she's supposed to be monster-in-his-chest beautiful, so I guess I'm disappointed because of that.

Maybe the dubious choice in actresses is because the HP franchise wanted to convey some sort of "normal, real woman are just as beautiful as Hollywood sluts". And we know they're not. It's the difference between falling in love with a woman and having sex with one.
