Any decent fics that focus on Harry and Ron as Aurors? Ideally, I'd be interested in reading anything with a "buddy cop" vibe, with a healthy mix of drama and comedy, but I wouldn't mind reading one that tips the scales in either direction.

 

Midnight Blues has them as problem solvers without the color of law and its fun.

 

I've read part of that fic and it was fun. My only worry is that it might tend towards H/Hr, which I am really not fond of.

 

Here's one that I have been following for some time:

A Stricken Lament : Senior Auror Ron Weasley wasn't sure how everything had fallen apart. One moment, he was investigating murdered magical creatures. The next, people were vanishing across Britain. When the danger hits home like a rampaging Horntail, he can only hope that one day all will be well. He just wishes anyone else agreed. — Harry/Ron friendship, canon ships, and dark themes.

I didn't like the first chapter, but the later chapters are a decent read.

 

I never realised how much I needed this to be a thing. Midnight Blues was surprisingly fun.
