Dug through ff.net's archives - anyone know of any decent fics where Rosmerta has a prominent role?

 

Do you mean like a oneshot or short story, or a long fic? Is it Harry-centric, or Rosmerta backstory that you're looking for?

 

There's a timetravel/dimension jump story where Harry lives in one of the rooms in the inn and works part time for her. It's been mentioned on this site a few times, but I don't remember the name. It also features Hooch challenging him to a quidditch game. Pretty sure it's Harry in the Marauders era... Probably rings a bell to someone, and may even be in the library.

 

It does sound familiar. It's not that fic of DobbyElfLord's, Altered Destinies or whatever, is it?

Edit: Nvm. Remembered that it's a timetravel.

 

It could be one of his stories, but I don't remember many of the specifics of it. I think he may have stolen Nagini before Voldemort turned it into a Horcrux or something like that.

 

I think you mean this fic. I remember it having Harry get Nagini, Pre!Horcrux and Rosmerta.

Sounds like a Marauder era fic. But it interests me enough so I'll read it again because I'll probably have forgotten it all by now.

 

Can anyone that has read this confirm that it is not slash? Main two characters are listed as Harry and Sirius, and the author's newest fic is... a Harry/Edward twilight crossover.

 

I scanned through the last few chapters and came across this:

So no, no slash. I read the story myself a couple months back, but x'd out after a few chapters. Don't really remember why, but looking at those latest chapters, I'm sure I had a good reason. Just the typical Indy!Harry bullshit that went out of style five years ago.

 

Jormugandr isn't looking for a particular story, just some Harry/ Rosmerta smut.

 

Flicked though a bit of it, there is an authors note saying "no slash but Sirius and Remus will be very protective of Harry"

I stopped reading it due to emo'ness and just plain stupid Harry that was pissing me off.

 

You can chk this story. It has slight Harry/Rosmerta. Good enough when I read it long back. But it's practically abandoned now.
