Has anybody read a good fic where Harry stops Sirius from going through the veil or where Harry brings Sirius back?

I'm not talking about pre-OOTP fics where Sirius is alive and well in the first place and I've read ABC.

I am not adverse to slash and one-shots are fine with me so are WIPs.

EDIT: Okay, this thread has been up for four days, has had 133 views and nobody has replied. I guess nobody has read anything like what I am looking for. Or maybe just anything that fits the description and is good.

 

There are many stories where Harry travels back in time to hit Sirius with a portkey moments before he were to fall through the veil, so it only looked as though he fell through.

I think sometimes it wasn't a portkey but a portal placed just in front of the veil, but I'm not sure.

I think in one story Sirius even saved himself because he were really smart: he had contingencies in place in case he falls randomly through the veil of death.

I looked but did not find stories like that. Sorry. They are all garbage anyway, they are usually centered on saving Sirius and nothing else; once it's accomplished the story falls apart. Sometimes the authors make Sirius stay hidden from the rest of the world because it seems smart to do so.

In one story Harry learns astral projection, ties himself with a rope, goes through the veil, and pulls Sirius back, but Sirius emerges as Padfoot and never changes back (BJH "Adaptations").

Somehow, I see this working and being ridiculously awesome.

 

There was a Dark Knight crossover about a year ago that was abandoned. What was there was really good though.

 

Was it the one where Harry was playing the part of the Joker? If it was I remember that being sweet!

 

Two stories that I can think of:

Hero, Villain, Saviour, Conqueror Just about decent fic if I remember correctly

Innocence is fleeting, Death stays true forever Readable Necromancer!Harry with his own army of zombies

I wouldn't call these good, but they are decent enough time wasters I suppose.

 

I don't know of anything with exactly what you're looking for, but A Black Comedy and The World that Waits both have Harry and Sirius in the same world after going through the veil.

 

They already read it.

 

I guess I'm not the only one who didn't connect ABC with A Black Comedy rather than the alphabet ...
