Did you have anything to add about the story? Did you like it, was it terrible, was it an epic, etc?

 

The premise of this story was good, but the execution is poor.

Grammar isn't great and there are more than a few spelling mistakes. Harry is way too overpowered, Dumbledore is a 2 dimensional character and a pretty transparent one at that.
This ALMOST got points for being HONKS but it never got to that stage.

Burn this shit with fire. Harry gets an utterly ridiculous and instant power-up, and the writing is terrible. Allowances for non-native speakers can only go so far.

It's one thing for Dumbledore to be a little manipulative, but why does every other fic have to use the phrases 'barmy old codger' or 'what is Dumbledore playing at?' It's too stupid for words.

I do give this fic credit for making me laugh myself silly though. Get this - Harry makes a trip to Gringotts, and sees a familiar-looking goblin. Griphook, you ask? Nope - it's Griphook's sister! Harry recognizes the freaking family resemblance in their noses! God, I'm still laughing.

Read the first three chapters and I found nothing that would have made me keep reading. Worst cliché possible, evil, stealing Dumbledore who wants to get Harry's gold because.... well because he is evil apparently. Sub-par writing, bad characterization and the fact that he can see the relation between Griphook and his sister just to make the goblins like him instead of Dumbledore is just stupid.

Probably because an administrator hasn't popped by to check it out? I actually think we are meant to report posts such as these, so they can be taken care of.

Remember, the admins volunteer here, they are under no obligation to do things on your time.

 

Sorry, didn't realize that the admins had to do it manually. I thought that a story being removed from the library was automatic once it went below a certain rating.

My bad. I didn't mean for it to sound like I was being an impatient asshole.
