Yeah, took him quite a while.
And while I agree that it is quite out there, it was what got me into dark Harry so I don't mind it so much. Just wish he would get back into the action more

 

I have no idea why people would read this. I read most of it, but mostly out of morbid curiosity. Essentially, this is what you get if you take a plotline directly from Warcraft III and put it in a modified HP universe.

The scale, plot, setting, etc. are essentially classic Warcraft.

 

Aye, maybe if the guy had kept it at least SORT of sane it'd be way more readable

 

This was my first ever dark Harry fic that I read.

Fascinating start albeit rushed, and then started to get weirder in the later chapters until it became rubbish.
Good fight scenes though.

 

Well... I don't know. It has some very well written sequences and a few fairly original plotlines - but there are some significant problems:

The beginning: Harry's "plan" to kill off his enemies isn't quite that good. There's no way Snape would be stupid enough to drink just any potion.
The middle: Way too much on uninteresting, minor, and just plain boring original characters.
The end: Huh? What happened?

 

This was possibly the first Dark!Harry story I ever read. I think it is great in the beginning, until fifth year school children develop into these extremly skilled and very powerful wizards and witches. It would have been better that when harry and his followers fleed into the forbidden forest could they have stayed there and practised for at least a year, keeping a low profile.

Also the fact that there are somehow 10 000 students at Hogwarts. That is a bit extreme. From what I can figure out so are there around a hundred students per house according to canon.

 

I have read this fic, from start to finish, and I loved most of the scenes in it. IT was written like a war campaign, and that was exactly what it was: An enormous war campaign. I loved it, and even if it gets repetative in the later chapters it's still a classic dark Harry.

The author went into great detail about the different types of soldiers, and even more detail into the magics used. From Neville's water elementals to Necro!Ginny... I usually despise Harry!Ginny pairings, but the way he manipulated her, wow! Classic.

Harry pretty much takes on everything, and everyone. He squishes them like cockroaches with his strategies, and battles.

This was the fic that got me to download an illegal copy of Warcraft III, and I played the campaigns while reading most of the story. The one pet peeve of mine is that he doesn't leave spaces between paragraphs so it is annoying to read, but aside from that this fic is the BEST dark!Harry fic I have read so far.

How about if I use a eyelash curler from the toilet of Rosie O'Donnell to tear off your toenails. String said nails and use them to slowly saw off your nut sack. Saute your nuts with some squashed leeches and motor oil and feed it to YOU.

I would then pass some time finding out how many ways I can snap your fingers off before deciding to improve your physical appearance by carving off the flesh on your head with the lid of a rancid dog food can.

And to finish it off by sticking a Zulu Spear up your ass, roast you for days over a couple dozen candles and feed you to some starving Ethiopians.

Because you know I am a fucking humanitarian.

I sincerely doubt that you have read a shit load of Dark Harry fics, but if you have it certainly wasn't by looking through this site. If you had you would know by now that being a whiny little bitch would not work. All it would get you is being verbally torn to pieces by people far more vicious than me before getting banned for being such an ignorant little emo.
