Managed my first 5-3 run to beat my record of 4-3 as a Druid, lost my final game to a Mage with 4 Fireballs and a Pyroblast in her draft - So, couldn't stop it but man, the amount of control minions she had in her deck was frustrating beyond belief.

Ah well. 45 Dust & 60 gold was a pretty terrible reward but hey, I'll take it.

Edit; Got my own Mage! And drafted 4 spells total, and all the rare's were terrible. Well, can't have them all, maybe I'll get lucky. No flamestrikes though so, not holding out hope for getting very far.

Well, that went well. 2-3 With the Mage, of all the spells I can draft I got 2 Polymorph's, a Fireball and an ice Lance.

I saw the Fireball in 1 game and didn't see my other spells at all. 2 Games I had 4 cards that could turn the game around as my opponent had 0 cards in their hand but board control and I didn't pull them. 2 Sunwalkers included in those cards. Telling you guys, my luck is terrible with these kinds of games.

My rewards? A pack and the fucking Blizzard card. The overbearing sense of irony is fucking poetic, thanks Blizzard. At least they gave me a golden Black Knight, so it's not all bad.

 

I just hit 9-1 with that Pally deck. Super excited. New record in arena.

I made a huge mistake though vs another Pally. I wanted to save my Consecrate as I only had one, but I needed to use it to clear his minions so I could keep board control; especially in the mirror.

Edit: Went 9-2, 10-2, 10-3. Ran into another Pally with 3 Argent Protectors (divine shield guy) and 2 Fairy Dragons. Destroyed my early game =(

Third loss was vs a Shaman who had excellent tempo and then 2 Fire Elementals to finish me off.

Oh well, 10 wins is still my new best arena record. Got a Golden Argent Protector from the pack. The irony is biting.

Edit 2: Oh my god. I just went 10-1 with Rogue tonight, including beating the same Shaman for wins 9 and 10. That was probably his 2nd and 3rd losses because he kept spamming emotes at the end =( Sorry Shaman. Loss was against a Pally who played Ragnaros and then Tirion when I had almost stabilized.

 

-Get SUPER lucky in card draw.
-Make the sweetest fucking Priest deck in the history of Priest decks.
-Lose 2 games in a row because of client crashes.
-Cry like a girl.

 

Dang, so I went 11-3 with that arena Rogue deck. Honestly, it did much better than I would have thought. Lost to Shaman and Druid. They had all the answers to my cards and I didn't draw my tempo cards.

Still no 12 wins. So close.

 

Damn, I am actually surprised that went 11 wins. It's solid but not amazing, although 3 SI agents is pretty ridiculous. I finally managed to grind out the dust for a cairne, so I am venturing back in to constructed. Not much luck yet though, too many handlocks.

 

Looking back, I think it was pretty amazing. Definitely a 7+ win deck. The tempo I had all of those games was pretty ridiculous. Those SI7 Agents were very good, and I had some sick syngeries. Shadowstep + Sunwalker, SI7, Scrubs, Bomber. Assassin's Blade, Spiteful Smith and Assassinate are some of the best 5 drops for Rogue. Worgen + Patient Assassin was surprisingly effective. Sprint for the card draw to round it out.

Obviously, if I had some Eviserates or perhaps Deadly Poisons it would probably be better. But I think this deck was really good. Had a lot of answers for pretty much anything, and stupid amounts of tempo from all the Battlecry damage + Backstab.

Just watched on Kripparrian's stream an absolutely hilarious game mode. Choose a class and have the AI autocomplete all 30 cards for your deck.

Got 12-0 with a rouge deck, I think it was probably because i managed to get 2 defender's of argus best i got before was 7-3

I just got fucking robbed in arena. I was 5-2 and was top decking vs a Pally, and my Flamestrike, Pyroblast, 2 Fireballs were in my last 6 cards.

Lost the game.

Still no good drafts in my Arena's, I did 5 drafts today and the highest I got was 4 wins; and that was only because 2 people instantly conceded/disconnected because EU was having problems today.

3 Of them were Mage drafts and I got a total of 9 spells offered to me across all 3 drafts; 0 Flamestrikes. I'll let you guys guess what I faced a lot of. I'm not sure why either but I'd say maybe 80% of the minions I get offered are 4 - 6 cost, so I get little to no early game presence and end up having to play 1 minion or spell at a time and summarily get my ass kicked.

Seems my unlucky streak's gonna continue as far as Hearthstone's concerned which sucks, but, one day there'll be a run where I get 6+ wins, or a draft that doesn't blow chunks. I have hope! Though the icing on the unlucky cake is getting 3 common cards when I've had 2 reward runs.

On the plus side, reported a load of visual bugs I had today whilst messing around creating some custom decks so finally achieved something as an actual beta participant,

 

Oh my lord, I just faced a Rogue who went for face with Assassin's Blade and TWO Deadly Poisons. Thankfully she only used them on the 2nd and then 3rd uses, so she only got 19 damage out of it.
I was at 1 hp and she had her Hero Power... but she didn't kill my Water Elemental and I froze her for 3 turns for the win.

I've discovered that I am really, really bad at handlock. Gonna keep playing around with it until the reset. Maybe I can figure it out by then

 

Playing an Aggro Pally that I'm having more sucess with. Having a good amount of fun with it so far, but I'm only playing enough to do a daily quest every day. 9 wins is my best Arena so far, haven't found it terribly hard so far though that may be because I've started playing arena mostly since open beta.

 

Damn. I had a great run with an aggro Paladin, but only made 9-3.
My first loss was to a Paladin who managed to save himself literally a round before I would kill him by attacking with a charge minion + Blessing of Kings for the kill.
My second defeat was to a Mage that Copied my Mountain Giant and double Fireball'd me with Plus 1 ability damage for the kill on round 6. Sure, balanced.
My last defeat was to another Paladin. I was very unlucky this game and didnt get any low mana cards until round 4, even though half my deck is 4 or below.

Warlock throws down 10/10 Frostwolf, because I'm ignoring his tiny minions to go for the face, thinking I can end it in a turn. The next turn he puts down Jaraxxus and mostly clears my side of the board.

Holy shit I'm fucked, I can't end it this turn. He's got Jaraxxus and that Frostwolf is at 10/11. I've got an Argent Crusader on the board.

And then BAM. Aldor Peacekeeper the Frostwolf to 1 damage. Throw down an Ooze to get rid of Jaraxxus's weapon. Next turn I draw Blessing of Kings to finish him off.

It was one of those games where you can tell both players were like "Damn, well played."

So sad that I only lose to Priests when they Mind Control my shit.

 

Just broke my losing streak and my record in the Arena and went 8-3 with a Druid deck that was fairly stacked but had trouble surviving the mid game if my draws were bad, a mixed bag overall. Happy to get the 215 Gold, though nothing of value in the pack.

Lost it all to a Warlock by 2hp, if I hadn't used Claw earlier in the game to wipe out a Voidwalker for my Ghoul I'd have won with a Stormpike/Savage Roar play, alas. He had 5 damage on the field & a Hellfire in his hand to seal the deal - I drew 0 of my 4 Druids of the Claw that game, most annoying.

Still, for a deck that started out 0-2 I can't complain. Broke my record, had some damn entertaining games and some sweet moves such as a 12-12 Blood Knight against a Mage, some crazy trade I screwed up and ended up having it work out in my favour and a very silly 8-13 Ogre with Taunt that in retrospect was a retarded move if he had any form of silence or removal.

 

Holy fuck.

Today, I've gotten robbed with top deck after top deck in the Arena. Real stupid that people can just go for face like that and win. Happened to me twice in a row too, a Rogue and Warrior.

Edit: So yeah, I just went 0-3 with Mage with an ok deck. Don't play competively when you're on tilt!

 

So apparently if you swing a Truesilver Champion into an Explosive trap, even if you drop to 0 health, the heal procs and saves your bacon - but you don't use your attack, so you can swing again, heal & deal damage again and then lose durability. So you can do 8 damage & heal for 4 with only 1 durability loss. Just saved my ass against a Hunter in a rather close Arena game.

Pretty nutty.

Edit; Got Sylvanas and Ysera in my draft after, yet to see either of them 5 games in - Yet I've faced 3 Ragnaros's, what the fuck is this?

Placement bug also keeps screwing me over as I have no way of getting rid of Rag outside killing him, which I can't do because the game keeps deciding it knows where to place my minions better than I do, or moving my already placed minions around so the buffs constantly go on the wrong minion & naturally Rag hits me every shot even when he has a sub 20% chance.

Fuck this game tonight.

Edit 2; Just had a Mage coin Sorc's Apprentice into Mirror Image, Frostbolt and Ice Lance. I was lucky she didn't wait a turn and play the Mana Wyrm too, I was fucked anyway because I threw away a hand full of 4's and got back a hand full of 4+'s again, down to 15 health and she had 26 because I couldn't play anything to counter.

Some people get all the luck with their drafts & opening hands, it's... Frustrating that I never seem to get any early combo's. Is true that he burned out with 0 card draw really fast and was lucky I had nothing to counter in my hand I guess.
