I just lost to a Mage in arena with 5 Flamestrikes, a Blizzard, 2 Fireballs, Polymorph.

Holy shit.

I even played around Flamestrike as much as possible.

And I just lost to a Pally with a bunch of buff minions and divine shield guys. No AoE in my draft = autolose to that kind of board control.

Man, my luck in arena today is really bad =(

 

I just threw an arena game by going after minions when the enemy had 3 health points.

Plus, I threw another one by buffing an enemy minion accidentally. Maybe I'll lay off Hearthstone for today.

 

And I just lost an Arena because of that stupid minon position bug vs a Rogue.
So stupid.

Meh, just lost again in a Mage mirror, he had first turn adv and snowballed it. Didn't draw my Flamestrikes. Sorcerer's Apprentice into Arcane Intellect + Frostbolt. So brutal.

Now, I have to choose between Ragnaros or Deathwing in Shaman arena... and I only have Defender of Argus so far. Anyone want to give me advice? =D

Just played a Druid who had 4 Druids of the Claw, 4 Swipes & 2 Starfalls.

I didn't even see half his deck but to have that much fucking value in 10 cards? Meanwhile I get offered the amazing choice of Murloc Warleader, Southsea Captain & Farsight in my drafts. Thanks Blizzard. Would not have been surprised if he had Ragnaros & Ysera and probably some Ancient's he hadn't drawn yet.

I have a feeling that player blew Morhaime or something because man, if I ever have a draft with that much value, I'm buying a friggin' lottery ticket.

 

How to go 12 wins in arena: draft 2x Sprint, and about 18 2 drops. Best run I've ever had/

 

Roll Priest in Arena. Not a single Mind Control. Not a single Legendary. Sads.

 

It's okay, Mind Control isn't that great anymore, anyway.

 

Everything else there was irrelevant.

 

It's the only reason I lose to Priests in arenas, unfortunately. And that double Mind Control I had a few days ago was sweet. Too bad I dc'd twice

So apparently Shamans have this minion that's 7 - 8, has Taunt, and costs 5 mana. Lol. Okay.

 

Its also legendary, and has overload 3... or 4 I forget.

 

It has 3 Overload & is pretty easy to remove. Assuming you have the card(s) for it, which at turn 5 can be unlikely. It's a stupidly good minion for its cost, but you're royally fucked if they get rid of it as you just halved your mana if you played it on turn 5.

 

Its epic, and no one really runs it in constructed because Black Knight is a thing. It wrecks shit in arena though.

 

Just played against a Priest who ran 3 Thoughtsteals & he got both my Equalities & my Concecrates. I hate that card so much.

Edit; I'm starting to hope my account is bugged specifically because if not then the luck is really screwing with me tonight.

I have a Sea Giant in one of my constructed decks that I do dailies with because hey, aggro decks can be great fun with it even if I lose anyway - now in 4 of these games tonight, I started out with the giant in my hand, I throw it away for a better card - and then I got it back as my first card drawn. In all 4 games.

To me that screams fishy, but then again I suppose I'm just being overly paranoid and in truth just have awful luck with this game.

Finally spent all my gold, down to my final draft in the arena - I got 1 swipe, 0 Druids of the Claw and a ragtag deck that could maybe go to 5 or 6 wins, but lacks buffs and any form of wave-clear outside the swipe so I'm thinking a 3-3 is probably gonna be more likely, albeit a stretch as I'm down 0-1 and losing pretty handily to a mage in game 2.

 

Right, epic. My bad.

I can't tell you how many times it's been hexed, sheeped, humility'd, assassinated the turn I play it. All in all, not as good as some people make it out to be.

 

I just had an Arena match at 8 wins where I Starfire'd x3 over 3 turns to face vs Mage.

He dropped a Water Elemental, 2/1 charger, and 3/1 charger over the first 7 turns.
You have to draft 2 drops as Mage too!

Ah, Justice.

Edit: And, I go 11-3 AGAIN. Still can't hit 12 wins in arena. 2 of the losses I somehow drew 3 out of my 5 minions that cost 6+ and went first vs Mage. Really gay.

 

There is something extremely satisfying about beating someone who's been spamming "Well Played" at you.

1 health left, killed him, and spammed Hello as he conceded the game. :awesome

 

Ugh, started a new Arena Rogue draft, and got offered Eviserate, Backstab, Scrubs... TWICE.
Then I get an Argent Squire, Wisp, Conceal choice.
And my final rare is Ancient Mage, Alarm-o-Bot, Bloodsail Corsair.

Real sad.

 

I've mostly played constructed since drafting is hard. I was mad when a friend of mine who used to play MtG started dominating arena because he was way better at drafting.

 

And that is why I always have a Polymorph spell handy.
