I might have just infinite combo'd three bosses in a single run of Chapter 5 of the Heist...

[IMG]Sound the Bells plus the Emerald Goggles passive (leftmost card in hand costs 2 less) can lead to this.

Five Legendaries in 44 packs. For once, I'm above average.

At work. At A glance, Phaoris looks like a dead card.

Btw, Rogue quest and the 3/5 rush are brilliant. By themselves they're probably enough for a bonafide Control Rogue deck.

If you were to compare it to control warrior, the amount of life saved from the quest weapon alone makes up for lack of heals or armour.

So then it has 2 major weaknesses.

    1) No aoe clear. I toyed with running blade flurry, but it's not necessary. The best way for Rogue to control is making tempo plays and dominating the board. That's where the new 3/5 rush comes in. It's no Zilliax, but it's very similar in function, and you can run two! Having 3 'Zilliax' is very powerful, especially when 2 of them activate Vendetta.

I'll probably struggle against full, sticky token Druid, but I've not seen it yet. Maybe not though, I'm running the lackey package too to help win the board.

    2) Burn. Nothing doing here. You just need heal when you go up against a deck that doesn't care about board. That, or pressure to kill them first. Not impossible, but def the biggest weakness.

mm after frequent trials with the Phaoris its pretty crap, tried using Conjurer's on it, to no success really. Instead swapped it out for Antonidas.

As for the Rogue, my friend played it to great effect earlier, basically, Lab Recruiter, with Pogo Hopper, with Togwaggles. Plus the Quest, Blink Fox, Pilfer and a few others. Basic combo was just flood the Pogos, and get the upgraded hero power to deal with any threats. Works pretty decently.

    Not even Pogoing.

Value from burgling and Tog obviously usually enough, combined with pressure to win most games.

Tess is even iffy, but she's there to apply pressure to Mage and Warrior.

I put in Spirit of the Shark in my deck. I haven’t tried it yet at rank 15 but I’m currently 7-1 in the brawl with the deck.

Battlecry Shaman is pretty hideous, I've gone 6-0 with Trumps list at rank 4/3. Warrior and druid just get outright stomped on.

Also Kripps murloc paladin looks like utter cancer.

    Day 1 aggro
Day 2 control warrior to counter aggro

This looks like a very familiar pattern lol.

I like how many new cards are being played. I think quest druid is my personal favorite right now.

Yoinked a shell, tossed Zilliax in because it's still one of the best cards and an autoinclude, am not very sold on Spirit so far. Evis vs Sap also an eternal consideration, but so far I've been getting decent mileage out of Evis.

Losses vs Conjurer Mage / Bomb Warrior (2/1) from the old meta, Quest Druid where I didn't get off the ground, a Highlander Quest Rogue that came down to me having to make a punt for the win that ended up being a punt, and some kind of Big Paladin list with the Blatant Decoy.

Wow!!!! I should be 7-3 in brawl but instead my run is still going with 9-2. All thanks to Singleton Brann playing a second copy of Hyena Alpha and Singleton Sir Finley playing a second copy of Tip the Scales.

I was dead to King Krush but the opponent was dead to my board.

The murloc paladin on the other hand had me at 3 health when Sir Finley was played. Hench-Clan Burglar saved my ass by discovering Nozari.

Never mind on what I said earlier. Quest Rogue is a trash deck.

Frankly, anything that isn't Control Warrior, Mech Hunter, or Conjurer Mage is a trash deck. Great expansion, Blizzard.

Conjurer mage isn't a thing. Big spell and Highlander mage are both better.

Control warrior exists, but isn't dominating. I haven't even seen a mech hunter.

Top two popularity decks. Note the discrepancy and the WR of Control Warrior. (If I sorted by win %, it's third on the list, behind a different list of CW that's been played only like 1000 times and a very niche big spell list with <1000 plays.)

    upload_2019-8-11_12-58-26.png

Mech was ubiquitous where I was at (dumpster tier where I belong), Secret's apparently better at it. (And I went to that because the only crafts for it were crafts I was going to make anyway). Murloc Pally is going to get figured out soon when people realise how the deck works and its counters. (Keep your AoE in reserve.)

Probably had bad luck with the Conjurer, though, I'll concede that.

-edit later- Also granted, I'm inflating CW's winrate because I just concede every time they slam Boom on turn 7. (Which has been 5 out of 6 CW games I've played today.) Secret Hunter doesn't have the tools to deal with that. (No deck really has.) I'm not interested in playing for 15 turns more and having a <10 % chance to win, so...
    --- Post automerged ---
Nevermind the above post, it's not the decks, it's me, I've just managed to lose four ranks (11-15) in just over 24 hours. 0 % WR vs Priest.

I still hear control warrior is the best deck right now, just so many aren't playing it because... you know... it's control warrior.

I imagine that might change as these new decks get refined though.
