Heheh, I'm currently sitting on over 13000g for Tuesday.

I'm looking forward to the new expansion, but I'm going to really miss my current spell damage deck. I just finally got my 12 wins in a row achievement using that deck and it has fun interactions for me.

I'm always down to play with others on NA servers.

Interesting. Spell Damage mage (assuming mage) is my least favourite variant of mage. It feels so high-rolly. Godly when I draw the phoenixes into draw and absolute garbage every other time, including when you draw those pieces out of sequence.

I got the 12-win achieve (pretty sure I went way longer than that) with highlander mage, but fuck what a boring deck...

It's really hard to mentally assess what decks will stick around. The new mage secret is huge for secret mage. 3 mana water elemental is good and all, but mage having a secret that triggers off attacking your board is so, so crucial for secret mage. It was so hard to ever win if you ever fell behind on board, and everyone could always just trade off your board without consequence.

But I need to see the whole picture. Arconologist is pretty huge, but I don't know what else is about.

My deck got picked up in the Forged in the Barrens deck roundup on HeartPwn. I’m basically famous now :)

I'm such an idiot for putting money down for this expansion...

I'm done with constructed until Ticketus fucks off.

I can think of at least two, arguably three, cards that are far more problematic inherently than a card that's supposed to beat control specifically beating control and being a tiny bit on the strong side doing so.

Watch Post (both 2 and 3 mana varieties, tbh) is too early to tell for me. Could be, though. Refreshing Spring Water is also on that list.

Pen Flinger and Animated Broomstick are the two guarantees.

I logged in after the update last week and got the 1000 wins portrait for Mage and 500 wins for Shaman. Checked and saw I had been given over 300 wins on Mage, and 200 on Shaman, Rogue and Paladin. Kind of disappointed as it felt rather anticlimactic after all the time I had spent with mage. Although they also gave Old Murk Eye and Captain's Parrot as a prize, which is good as I missed them last time.
    What is everyone else playing?

A single card to beat control with no counter play is bullshit. Add that in with every other tool they have.

    They heal more than priests!

This isn't just sour grapes either. I hit legend first and still refuse to play anymore.

I just don't understand the rationale of nuking mill and kingsbane rogue only to introduce this cancer.

The thing i hate about penflinger has nothing to do with what it does, and everything to do with the animation. There's plenty of counterplay to it.

2 mana watchtower on curve is... it's pretty cancerous too honestly. Esp coin 2ower into another...

Refreshing Spring Water and the Paladin Sword-that-gives-a-secret need to get hit hard. Both classes are head and shoulders above anything else on the ladder right now.

This is the biggest meta shakeup in history.

It's too early to say what's too powerful. Having played a lot of spell Mage though, I can tell you the draw isn't the problem. Getting Incantor's flow early is basically like having permanent sorcs apprentices on the board.

Without incantor's, I'm not sure how powerful spring water is. You'd struggle keeping the board under control without 5/6 cost flamestrikes.

It can actually feel a lot like mozaki Mage if you get the IFs early. And draw, obvs.
