I'm still on my pre-GvG draft and luckily I have 2 silences and a Blood Knight, because the amount of deathrattles and other annoying stuff is through the roof, although it helps that people are drafting new cards even if they suck just to try them out.

 

Anyone tried spectating games yet? I just spent a few minutes and it was cool.

 

Bomb Lobber's 'play' quote is probably the best thing since sliced bread and KT's hamminess.

I just achieved the GvG Ramp Druid of the Fang dream: I coined, double innervate Druid of the Claw- Bear Form turn 1 and then played Druid of the Fang turn 5.

Take a minute or 2 in the shop and actually look at what you are buying when it goes live in Europe (same goes for people in NA)

There have been to many frakin idjits (that includes shit-ton of streamers) that buy the Classic packs and then rage @ Team 5 & Blizzard for their own mistakes.

Team 5 must be feeling so smug now after the community bitched about being called too dumb to handle more then 9 deck slots.

Here is what the store layout looks like in GvG. The Classic pack is the default selection and it is very easy to see that the Classic pack are selected. Yet people don't take their time when purchasing new packs because everyone assumed that GvG packs were the default selection.

Actually managed to get into game on EU and buy 30 packs and open them before it kicked me and now I seriously think it would have been better I never did. 33 packs and all I got were 3 epics, well and 9 explosive sheep of course.

 

That's a bit of a meh set of cards. Bet you were feeling sheepish about that purchase.

I got in long enough to win an arena match (who else likes 12/8 Floating Watchers, I sure do), but got DC'd on win and haven't been able to get in since. Not opening packs yet, will do that after concluding arena run. (Plus I've only got the three free packs anyway.)

 

It was just gold and I saved 400 for arena, but yeah wasn't thrilled about it.

Can't say I like them Watchers, but had a 8/11 Fel Reaver in arena, though I was taking fatigue damage on turn 9 because of him, but healed just enough to survive and win. Opponent had an army of small minions and 2 Arcane Intellects, so he could afford to spam them and I have never seen cards drawn so fast lol.

Finished opening 40 packs. Got 7 epics and 2 legendaries. And 8 puddlestompers!

 

Floating Watchers are super dangerous.

If I didn't draft Faceless in my KT Warrior arena deck I would be sitting @ 3-2 instead of 5-0.

The run ended on a 3 game losing streak. 5-3.

1st loss was against Paladin where I miscalculated life and it cost me the match.

2nd loss was to Shaman where I just lost card advantage towards the end.

3rd loss was to Warlock where ironically Floating Watcher was not played.

 

Currently 8-0 in my arena, even after facing KT with Piloted Shredder (Goblin Blastmage ftw).

Foe Reaper 4000 is so fucking good in Arena, it ain't even funny.

-edit- 8-1 after I miscalced the order in which everything would resolve.

 

Anyone else finding it hard to get higher than 7 wins in arena at the moment? With GvG being out I can get to fives wins without too much of a problem, but then I end up running into some seriously odd, but effective decks.

The worst was a priest that coined out the hobgoblin, that gives +2/+2 to any 1 attack minion. Then proceeded to play three Gnomeregan Infantry minions and two annoy-o-trons in the subsequent turns, which led to a crushing defeat. I've also have had several loses due to the enhance-o mechano giving the opponents minions ridiculous value.

Variance in Arena has also increased wildly, though there seems to be a consistent legendary in almost every draft. Some of the cards a seriously fun though, I love the madness that Recombobulator brings to the game.
