$10 for just an alternative skin for a hero? Wow. That is the biggest ripoff yet.

 

It's pricey, but compared to buying packs to get a golden legendary that in the end is only cosmetic as well, not really that different. I wouldn't buy it for 1$ as I won't for 10, so not really a concern for me and for those that really want their bling, they'll pay gladly.

 

I don't really care for the new cosmetic crap for 10 bucks but I am liking the idea of the new game mode Tavern Brawl!.

 

A new feature! At last!

Maybe one day we'll even see some bloody deck slots.

 

They've also added the ability to assign a cardback to each deck, which is nice.

Should add an alternative way to get it without paying. An example could be a new max level (70) which awards you the alternative hero skin.

 

Not really, imo. In the end it's just a cosmetic change that you can choose to pay for or not.

Why do players sometimes concede on turn 1?

 

Tavern Brawl is live on EU now. NA still has 1 hour and 30 minutes to wait.

 

Haven't played Heartstone since they gave the free packs from the Goblins vs Gnomes expansion and I want to get back into the game because of Tavern Brawl. Any deck recommendations? I mostly play Mage, Shaman or Paladin.

 

Tavern Brawl comes with a pre-made deck for brawl #1 so you're good on that front.

As for deck recommendations, mech and freeze for mage and dragon midrange paladin are good to use. I don't play shaman except in arena so I don't know the current decks for the class.

In response to the above question, midrange paladin, tempo mage, and mech shaman are the most prevalent archetypes (and arguably strongest) of their respective classes.

Blizzard is making an announcement on July 22 and the speculation is that it is Argent Tournament related. Many think that is the theme of the next expansion and next summer's adventure will be the Ice Crown.

As for the current season I am at rank 8, 1 star. This is the highest I've reached and so I'm wondering if there is enough time to get to Legend?
