In the middle of a 10-2 arena run. Druid with what I thought was a god awful deck, but is my best run ever. Here's hoping for 12.

*Edit* 11-2 now... I had 2 knife jugglers out first 2 turns, and it just kind of spiraled with hilarious knife luck into everything they played.

R.I.P the 12-win dream. Shaman plays Fire Elementals on turn 5 (coin), 6, and 8, just shitting on my board.

 

Seems as if we will get to try out some new cards on this weeks brawl. Anything you guys are looking forward to see in play?

There will be 10 new dailies added in the patch:
Everybody! Get in here! Win 5 Tavern Brawls. Rewards 60 gold.
"Class" Victory. Win 3 games with "Class". Rewards 50 gold.

The end of season reward breakdown is:
Shieldbearer's Footlocker (rank 20-16)
Guardian's Chest (rank 15-11)
Ogre Magi's Stash (rank 10-6)
Sea Giant's Treasure (rank 5-legend)

 

So the rank 5-legend rewards are the same? Cool. I'm not good enough to hit legend (without an insane game count), but I can push rank 5 with a good streak.

 

I heard you get a bit more dust if you get higher than rank 5, but that's about it.

 

This deck is stupidly good. Just beat a Priest who had 3 holy novas and a Ragnaros, along with various other great cards. During these runs I've even managed to get The Dream off vs. a Druid. Turn 3 Muster into coin Quartermaster.

Tomorrow, we have three tries.

 

That's kind of revolting. Your worst card is, idk, the cannon? And it's not even bad, just bland.

I just played the new Tavern Brawl on the Europe server and the new cards are fun.

I was Mage and was able to do 4 damage using Fire Blast with Fallen Hero and Garrison Commander.

 

Feels like the mage is much stronger. 6/6 wins on mage, but 1/5 on Hunter.

 

They seem pretty balanced to me. True, the Hunter is a reliant on the Joust mechanic which has some RNG elements, but it's not that bad. The Jousting cards aren't too weak if they lose, and not too overpowered if they win.

At least, it's nowhere near as unbalanced as Ragnaros/Blackwing. I didn't notice any inherent superiority in the ~10 games I played today.

 

I didn't find Ragnaros / Nefarian way to unbalanced except if Nef got insane luck with hero power.

 

Mage seems significantly stronger, especially early game. Hunter lacks clear outside of like, a 10-mana combo with unleash + that god awful legendary.

 

I think Medivh has the advantage, but it's very possible to draw dead in both decks. It also feels like Alleria's deck has less high mana cards, which puts her at a disadvantage for Jousting anyway.
