This was a pretty good story, though the ending wasn't anything like I expected.

It has already been established that library posts don't count as necroposts. While he may not have said anything useful it was within the rules.

    Overall I like the story.

On an entirely different note ,why the hell am I seeing others basically screaming Necropost.....it gets annoying.

I agree, library threads can't be necro-posts - though you should add something constructive before you just revive it from the land of necro-dom.

However, since it is already revived, I want to say I loved the first story - and hated the 2nd. What was the purpose of tearing everything away from Harry that he worked so hard in achieving? Talk about a non-sequoiter.

I'd like to see more updates on the sequel just to see if there really is any purpose to it but as it's been dead for well over a year now, I am not, as they say, holding my breath.

It was cliched, mostly, with Dumbledore being unrealistically manipulative and so many other flaws I can't remember because I read this fic about a year ago. I used to think it was pretty good, because back then I was a newbie to fanfic and wasn't that critical- but now I look back and shudder.
Although, I do remember she stated in her ANs that she was thirteen when she was writing it... not too bad for a thirteen year old. I would have forgiven her except for the fact that her AN went something like this-
'Some of you told me I'm very good for someone so young... is thirteen that young? (frowns)'
I definitely remember the '(frowns)'. Okay, maybe it wasn't that blunt and so obviously begging the readers to review saying 'OMG, ur only 13? ur realy good! kewl!', but I did get the impression she wanted people to review saying something along those lines.
Well. The sequel was even worse.

This is one of those strange fics that manages to be bad, while made from good bits. The rune, the ring, the castle and the cure, all these pieces could make a kickass story. It had the title, too. It just didn't come together after a while. Like a tetrisgame, sort of. I guess 13 is too young, after all. It's easy to bite of too much.

The recycling bin is a good place for this one. It's not terrible, but something about it prevents it from being good. The writing and the premise are just too juvenile to really suspend disbelief.

The premise here is that Harry is wrongly convicted of murder and sent to Azkaban. Not longer after his arrival, he discovers that he is the long-lost "Lord of Azkaban." How? It turns out that Azkaban is more than just a prison--it's a whole society of people who have traditionally lived beyond the Ministry's control. Surprise!

Long story short--Harry is trained by a 14-year-old, female 'captain' in the Azkaban militia, who eventually becomes his love interest, and there's a big battle at the end. There's an island full of other OCs that are impossible to care about as well.

2.5/5 - the premise and the execution are juvenile, but at least it's complete
