Hopefully Adam balance the story out a bit. He needs to get back in the game.

Couple of things I still don't understand:
    1. The Hunger is basically a violent need to "know" more by acquiring more powers, right? So, why would Peter ever get it if he can get others powers just by being close to them? And why did he try to give Nathan an open brain surgery if he already got his power?
2.How could Parkman access future painting?

Well for the first question the reason Peter opened up Nathan's brain is because he wanted to know the truth that future Nathan wasn't telling him. He tried to read his mind for the information but he can only read the thoughts that were on the surface of Nathan's mind so he decided to just open up Nathan's skull and learn from his brain what Nathan knew. Also it was the hunger of wanting to know more kicking in.

As for the second question, I have no fucking clue.

Future Sylar did not trust future Peter enough to give him his power. He knew for a fact that Future Peter would not have been moral enough to contain the hunger nor should he be trusted with it.

EDIT: It is possible that that guy's power allows him to induce future dreaming in others.

Why did they have to brutally rape Hiro? He used to be a cool naive guy but now he's just a retard.

I'm still not to sure about Sylar being a good guy though. He made heroes awesome with his evil creepyness! How can you make a good guy just as creepy while not killing anyone?

Maybe both their powers are coming together. While african guy is there, Matt sort of passivly reads the ability up?

Matt was the one who saw the future, not the African guy, and his power doesn't include ability theft. It's possible that projecting visions onto other people is the African's power, and I think it's the most likely answer.

Part I liked best was definitely Adam coming back. He was pretty bad ass in the last series and I bet that grudge against Hiro hasn't diminished at all. How long has he spent in a coffin? Couldn't have been very fun, being immortal n'all.

As for the Time being the ultimate answer thing... It's probably what I would do if I had the power. Jump back and forth adjust small things until I found a future that was perfect for me... Or one where I can steal all the advanced technology and the likes. Damn, it's like asking what I would do if I had magic >_>.

Sylar's power is pretty cool, I know I feel a 'hunger' to know more once I'm sat on a computer browsing wikipedia or TVTropes, and we've known since the first season that he could analyse things and see how they work.

All in all, I liked it, and the season looks to be shaping up pretty well.

Personally I think the African's power is making 'drugs' that can achieve a desired affect, a natural form of Mohinder's super-syndrome perhaps.

@liansk: The 'hunger' is a need to use the power to learn, to know. I believe it applies just as much to cooking as to powers, Sylar simply chooses to sate it through understanding abilities.

As for how Sylar and Peter's powers are different, think of it as a watch metaphor. Some people have super special watches only they can read. Peter's ability is to use other people's watches when he thinks of how they make him feel. Sylar's ability is to open the watch, take it apart, see how it ticks, and reconstruct his own watch to use the unique features of the watch he just dismembered.

Not to mention Peter has seen so many of Sylar's powers he robbed, he couldn't possibly isolate the truth about Sylar's powers to try to use them. He has to have a base understanding of the power to use it in the first place.

What I don't understand is why didn't Peter just ask Sylar to use his power to find out how to fix it? The point of getting his power was to understand how the time travel messed up and how he can fix it. Well why not just ask?

Because Sylar hadn't experienced it, and didn't know all the intricacies that come with being a time traveller. Also, Peter doesn't need to know he has a power to use it (training with Claude and his latest stint inside Jesse's body being prime examples), but to be able to actively control it he needs to think of the person who first had it, or at least how they made him feel.

Because Syler can't time travel himself, because Peter would be unable to account for any more problems he made when fixing the old ones, because Peter's not smart enough to be talked through fixing a watch let alone preventing the Apocolypse, should I go on?

Sylar has to have an input to have an output. He would have to be able to travel to the time period to know exactly how to fix it.

And I love how they just brought in vortex guy, the only guy who could stop Sylar now in Season 3. You would think the company would of brought him in early on to stop Sylar. Puppet guy was cool though...

Hmm... I was guessing that Adam was Peter and co.'s dad after reading the one comic where he said his current wife would get him out of the coffin, but it would appear I was wrong. Not sure how I feel about fucked up spiderman Suresh. I liked him as the good ethical guy.

I'm just glad that Maya finally got fucked up. By Mohinder no less. That was great shit right there.

God, I hated her so much.

Same. Anyone know if the people that are tied up are really dead or not? Cause it would be awesome if she was gone for good.

I'd really enjoy it if someone just killed off Claire. Vortex, puppet, bury her alive, whatever it takes.

Oh, and what the hell, Hiro? I'm assuming this is some sort of plan between him and Ando, but meh.

I don't know what to think about Hiro anymore. His actions are erratic and unpredictable. He keeps on spouting about being a hero and then he suddenly kills his best friend?!

I don't know weather if that is some kind of illusion or something Hiro did when he killed Ando.....ah i'm so confused.

jeez....this show is messed up and i can't even find which direction it's going. Dunno if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
