I love, love, love this show. Well--actually the Nikki character pisses me off. She's a weak link if you ask me. I originally thought Jessica (the other her) was cool, but now every time her part comes on I just get up and go to the bathroom. She bores me...

Other than her, I'm really getting into the little brother's storyline. I cannot wait for the next epp.

 

Hmm...she doesn't really bother me but I keep wondering about her abilities. At first, I'd thought that she only had that split persona to do the dirty work and help her out of the occasional pinch. Still, that'd just be a change in personality. When I look at some scenes though, I can't help but wonder if there's more to it. Like that time she smashed her husband into a wall at high-speed with a suitcase. Looks to me like she has some kind of enhanced body while Jessica is around...at least in the strength department.
Heh, wouldn't be the only thing that doesn't make sense...at least yet.

Ah yes...well I think I do enjoy the show =/

 

It really sucks that we have to wait until the 22nd of January for the next episode.

Yeah, the super strength would be great if she were doing jack shit with it. I honestly don't know why I'm so bored by her story line of chasing her ex-con husband.

 

Awesome show. I just watched all the episodes over the last couple of days and I really think this show thrives in all the areas LOST is lacking.

I really want to find out how Sylar gets his abilities (well adds to his) and personally I like Hiro's and Peter's characters the most.

 

Well, Sylars power is to simply, "See how things work" be it a watch or the human brain. I think the only way to fix this imperfection, as he called it is to kill the hero. In doing so, he gets the imperfection himself.

I thought, when the nuclear bomb was mentioned that the guy who had the problems with his wife who died of cancer would be the cause of it, as his power is very strange.

Maybe Peter just absorbs the guys power, and not knowing how to control it, ends up being the bomb. Or, atleast, thats what will happen unless they stop it.

 

Yeah I thought of that explanation also but why does he take their brain? Does he eat it? Dissect it? or is it really he just has to view the brain?

There has to be something.

 

That is the conclusion that me and my friends at school have come to as well.

 

The conclusion that I have come to is that since he is around all of the people all a thte same time, he gets overloaded with all of their powers and blows up. I think this because the radiation dude wasn't in Peter's vision, and this isn't because of lack of knowledge as Peter hasn't met Nikki, DL, or Micah, but they were in his vision.

 

Wow. Just...wow.

Instead of actively studying for my exam like I should have been, I watched the first 11 (I'm fairly sure that's all that's aired 'til now) episodes of this show...and it's fantastic. Its enthralling, the sudden twists and turns in the plot are crazy, but engaging as hell...I've got nothing bad to say about it.

Wait...one minor thing

Peter fucking Petrelli. WHY?! That damned...thing...where his mouth gets all wonky and when he talks its like his lips stretch and move only on the right side of his face...that, and his damned hairstyle are possibly the most irritating things I've ever seen. Apart from that? It's one of the most entertaining shows I've ever seen.

My thoughts were along these lines:

Sylar's a power-hungry maniac. He's shown this in the scene with Mr. Suresh, where he gets angry that he doesn't have that power.

So, when he breaks peoples' heads open and looks at their brains, he can see how he can use the power...he can learn any power by just 'reading' their minds and then is able to replicate it.

So his serial killings are basically him using Suresh's list of people, and killing them one by one and taking their powers...like he said in the last one, he wanted to kill the cheerleader and take her power of indestructibility.

 

I found this thread and watched all the episodes i could find. Its awesome i dont think anybody could doubt that, the way all the characters are linked and interwoven are brilliant. This show aint aired in britain (that i know of) so i have to rely on the internet to see the episodes but it is great.

Have they started up againsince christmas or are we still waiting?

I am totally in love with Heroes and I really can't wait for the next season. Can you believe it's only showing in Britain sometime in February?!

 

BRITAiN!! lucky buggers. I'm actually pretty impressed by the show. it odly reminds me of Prison Break because of it's suspance and drama not to mention the fast paced of the show. My favorite character is the japanese guy. funny aswem guy who becomes a hardass F&^*** in the future.

 

I want to make deep passionate love to this show. It is pretty amazing, I really can’t express enough. At first when I read about the theme and story behind it, I figured it was a bad X-Men rip off dressed up in a new coat.

I was wrong, it’s great.

Its only been aired in the US at the minute (as far as I know) - it will be coming to Britain in February. As I have said, its a fucking brilliant show, Hiro is the funniest Asian dude I've ever seen in my life

Apparantly Sylar didn't escape, which I had assumed would happen when he go a hold of the mind control chick. It appeared my predictions were correct when talking about peter taking the power of the radio active guy, as we see two vision, one of peter saying he can't control the power, and a shot of the guy creating radioactive(?) waves, or something using his hands

Anyone have some new predictions? I do hope Clare's friend gets his memories back, or atleast stays in the show, kind of like him.

 

I thought the new episode was pretty cool, but it just seemed to be a filler chapter for the characters to meet up in properly. Claude looks pretty cool and Hiro did some more amusing stuff.

Hiro stealing a fake sword is gonna make me grin for a good long while and Zach doesn't get his memories back, but Claire making new ones for him.
