Honestly this whole season has kinda sucked, mostly due to Sylars back and forth psyche and the whole formula-stolen-from- 4400-bullshit. Even season 2 was better, this just seems uncohesive but it has its high points. Bout Sylar, for Zach Quintos sake he better hope that the annoying microwave kid sticks around cause Sylars mini plot is pretty stale. Only his good acting keeps him alive,he was supposed to die in season 1.

Is anyone else getting pissed off by the writers constantly reusing Hiro's material from other episodes? The whole 'I did it' thing and the baguette/sword were funny the first time, but not so much the second or third...

It's like when a young child says something funny and keeps repeating it because they got laughs out of it before.

The writers were reusing Hiro's materials from other episodes? I honestly didn't notice, but that was probably because I wasn't paying attention to Hiro's storyline at all in this particular episode.

The group meeting at the end was good, hopefully Parkman will flip out and turn badass, otherwise, the poor me shit, good cop needs to go. The guy is insanely strong with the stuff he could do, they've never used him right. His dad was more awesome power wise.

Peter can only use one power at a time... what happens if he touches Sylar and steals empathy/IA back. Hiro. DIE. Ando. DIE. kthx.

He would get back a craving for brains, and hopefully a few "surplus to requirements" characters will disappear like tracy and Claire, god knows the killed off better characters

I am disappointed that there was no Sylar this episode, but I suppose Matt going psycho will have to do for now.

I also wasn't very happy at Daphne surviving, though it was rather obvious. I just wish that main characters would stay dead for once. Or permanently die, for that matter.

I don't mind, really. She doesn't look like she will be doing anything power-wise for a while, so she's not going to make a big difference.

When the soldiers were surrounding Matt, couldn't he have taken over their minds again and got them to kill each other? And I swear to fucking god, if Mohinder is forced to work with the bad guys AGAIN, I'm going to kill something.

It seems that he can only control one at a time, they are all pointing their guns at him, and there is no meatshield!Claire in sight.

HRG is getting his spy mojo going and is doing a better job than Mohinder ever did in Season 2.

This is also the first time that I actually care about the Matt plotline, although the actor has always done well with what he has been given.

Why could Peter fly away with Matt?
When he touchs them he gets their power, and the last time i checked Matt cant fly.

Look at the name, it should be obvious.
I thought of the same exact thing.

By no means was this episode great, but I felt it was a good, solid episode of Heroes with some flaws. They managed to tell a background story for HRG's involvement in this entire operation. Plus, they just concentrated the entire episode on him, which is always good.

They showed HRG's motivation for joining Nathan's operation (it made sense that Noah would get bored after constantly working for 20 years). They gave him more of a human side with him feeling jealous that the Hunter was going to lead the operation, instead of him. Acting wise, Jack Coleman did a fine job this episode. I wasn't a big fan of the swerve with Angela, but if it leads to more HRG badassery, then I'm willing to take it.

I'm enjoying Parkman's descent into becoming a violent psycho. He has been constantly pushing the boundaries this entire season, and I'm going to enjoy his turn as a villain.

I do have a couple of complaints. When Peter flew away with Parkman. Shouldn't he not able to do that? If Peter can only hold one power at a time, then should he have absorbed Matt's. The other one concerns Peter, too. Why didn't he shoot and kill the Hunter, who is the brains of the entire operation?

Oh and I severely missed the awesomeness known as Sylar this week

It could be that the decision to absorb the power has to be conscious. It could also be that he didn't touch any skin.

The latter could be a possibility, but the first one isn't. In the first episode he didn't mean to absorb Tracy's freezing powers, yet he still did.

This is one of the reasons why Heroes is such a clusterfuck. Most good shows explain this kind of shit without fans having to fill in in the blanks, because your writers are too lazy or incompetent.

He could have gotten more of a handle on it. It's been a few days since he first absorbed powers as he's been doing, and he's been shown to have very good control over his abilities in the past. By now, it could be more or less a conscious choice.

If he killed him, then he would just be showing to the world that the mutants/specials/whatever are dangerous and need to be put down rather than just detained. I thought he said as much in the episode, but maybe not.

Danko and Nathan did. They also said that there is a number of higher ups who have the same opinion as Danko. Killing him solves absolutely nothing. All that would happen is that they would send someone new to replace him and probably convince the President to have things done their way instead of Nathan's way.

It's pretty much inevitable that they're going to eventually do things the hard way. The only way it ends is if we get the fireball in Parkman's drawing or if everybody suddenly forgets about people with powers...

Speaking of: I wonder what the Haitian is up to these days?

Ruling Haiti with an iron militarist fist.

What I would like them to mention is wtf is Molly doing through all this. I mean you have an organization who is hunting evolved people and you have an easily pliable little girl with the power to track anyone. She should be the main focus of that Agency. It also never had a good closing as to what happened to her. I think the writers assume we won't remember shit from other seasons (Molly, Irish girl trapped in the future, black girl with muscle mimicry, third triplet, etc) and it's really annoying.

Overall I thought the episode sucked major ass. I don't mind the idea behind it but the execution was terrible and made for a really boring episode. Only highlight was no angsty Claire.

Claire reminds so much of wonderwoman, in that she is basically useless, at least wonderwoman had that busty swimsuit thing going for her.

What might salvage this season is bringing back Alternate Time Hiro from season one and teaming him up with Syler, Microwave kid, Psycho Parkman, and HRG's. Then turn them loose on the hunters...

As far as the last episode went, I was happy that HRG's is acting more like a spy inside the ranks and will do anything to get things done.

As far as Rebel goes, does anyone think it might be Grandma?

Practically everyone thinks Rebel is grandma Petrelli and she is probably the mastermind. Others think Micha is involved because of his power and because he is suppose to be in this volume.
