Nathan I hands down can't stand. The actor's face freaks me out as well, the chiseled stone look is creepy as hell. Eat some milkshakes and McDonalds and get some weight to your face for the love of god.

I like Hiro the best, but they've got to have him stop acting like such a fucking goofball. I'm guessing Ando will die and it'll be the catalyst for the serious Hiro we see in the subway.

 

Well, an actor and the character one plays don't need to connect in that way. A great actor, with low IQ can play a smart character as much as a good actor with high IQ can play a dumb character. I do like the future show of Hiro, but where his character is at now, I find myself wishing his scenes would go by faster.

 

It's difficult to be a really stupid talented actor. It's not difficult to be a really stupid POPULAR actor, but it's difficult to be a really talented one. Of course, a good deal of how an actor/actress acts (at least in television and movies) is from the director more than from the actor/actress himself, but it's definitely easier to play a character similar to yourself. For example, if you were straight, but playing a gay character, it might be more difficult to produce some chemistry, than if you were gay and were actually attracted to the other character.

If you look at the lonelygirl16 (or 15?) videos, it's pretty apparent (if you view it with a critical eye) that when she's talking about things like Richard Feynman, or events of historical significance, that she has no idea what she's actually talking about.

My liking of the cop went up a lot when he took the diamonds for himself after listening to the cop insult him.

I actually liked Ando and Hiros actions this episode, even if they were duped and Ando seduced/Kidnapped. I loved how Ando used the many things Hiro preached in the past to get Hiro to follow him and Hiro's "stop saying what I say!" or something similar.

Overall I liked the episode and wasn't bored in the least while watching it.

And once again, Nathan is a disapointment.

I guess I was a bit disappointed that the invisible guy and Peter Petrelli didn't appear in this episode. Their storyline was just starting to get really interesting with Peter finally being able to harness his powers and growing into a somewhat acceptable character. That and Mr. Invisible never fails to amuse me.

The cop's and Sander's plot wasn't what I was waiting for, neither what I expected but it seems these two are at last becoming a bit more appealing. Actually, I reckoned that Jessica would simply rot away and that the cop would return to a normal, boring life but to see the two of them engaged in a gunslinger-like duel was certainly a nice surprise.

I'm also kinda losing my interest in the whole Ando/Hiro storyline. It's okay and all but I just want him to fetch his sword and get it done with. The whole thing was so much more fun when Hiro had his powers (Casino )

Sylar...well, is Sylar. It never gets boring around him. His newest ability looks rather lame compared to his telekinesis though it's probably rather useful when you're simply able to melt a door or a wall that's in your way.

That leaves the whole Claire Benett ordeal. While the 'Save the cheerleader, save the world' slogan still applied, she was an okay character and I didn't mind her a bit. By now, I can't stand her and everything around her anymore. The corny situation with her real parents that just makes you roll your eyes, her being trapped at home and not knowing what to do and now her mother losing all her memories. It bores me to death, plain and simple. Sylar should have just killed her whole family off to prevent any of the current family drama.

 

I can't wait until Ando dies. I'm hoping that he's the character death. He's embarrassing my race by always going after the slutty white chicks. At least Hiro has the good taste to go after one who likes him too.

I didn't miss Peter from the episode because my friend always squees every time she thinks about him. Parkman is stoopid. It was a little weird to see Nathan almost get a heart, I suspect he will have a big role in season two.

This newest ep was boring as hell, and the whole Sylar bit, while amusing, there was a great deal of what looked like homosexual tension between him and the doctor, by the way they kept locking eyes and doing these weird ass facial expressions. I seriously was waiting for them to kiss man it was weird.

 

Agreed. I found myself getting up and leaving the room all through it. Hopefully next week's ep will be better.

 

Has the season gone on Haitus or some such? Or ended perhaps, I can't help notice that itunes didn't notify me of episode 19, nor can I find any evidence of it on line. This vexs me. What happened to Heroes?!

I want to know what fucking Sylar does to Peter! I'm really worried about a scar, as he's very cute at the moment and scaring would only not be pretty. Maybe the good doctor will die...he annoys me.

 

Aye, they took a break before and now they are taking another break again before the season continues. I believe they said the episodes are coming back sometime in April, Ill go check the date....

I like that the doctor dude found out that he was Sylar in the previous episode, I don't like that he was immediately outsmarted by Sylar who use to work in a clock repair shop...

 

He also absorbed the powers of that girl at the diner who learned Japanese in like a week.

 

Well, yes, but that power wasn't natural intelligence, it was just the ability to memorize things and learn at a fast pase, it doesn't compare with the intelligence I thought the scientist had.

I think Peter is kinda cute, so no complaints about him serviving for a while longer.

Nikki/Jessica is starting to annoy me. I like the idea, but Nikki needs to heal soon.

 

Yes, I have a friend who only watches the show for the times when Peter is on screen, and when Hiro is doing something embarrassing to my race.

I'm not sure what I want from Nikki/Jessica. Jessica is a much cooler character, but if Nikki didn't exist, then Jessica wouldn't be in the positions that prevent her from just being a grunt for Lenderman. On the other hand, do we even need Jessica? Considering Nikki's "profession", she clearly has a wild side herself.
