Sure, it's not the next "Wastelands", but it held my attention rather well, enough for me to read through the whole story and not feel like stabbing my eyes.

    I'd rate it a 4/5.

I have managed to mostly forget the awful Legimency scene. That was horrific.

I started this last night, meant to read more of it today, but forgot about it. Slightly annoyed though, I forget what chapter I had read up to.

I'm just going to start again, chapter one.

I find it to be harmlessly enjoyable, but hardly of any significant quality. It doesn't offend my delicate sensibilities too often, and the story occasionally has some actually original ideas.

    3/5 - down the middle

The story kept my interest despite some awfully written scenes, the extreme use of cliches and the fetishistic pro- slytherin plotline. I guess it's the fact that I really like redo fics.

    3/5

I remember when I went through this period. I read many many redo fics back then. Now I can't even stand them.

I... liked this story. I should hate it, but I really find it an enjoyable read. Hoewever, a chapter or two at toward the end made my head start spinning (and not in a good way). Seemed... slightly culsterfucky

    3/5

    People like this?

I'm quitting before the end of chapter 4. Apparently Harry has decided to go make friends with Snape, because deep down he wants to apologize for being so aweful to Snape in the canon timeline.

    What the bloody fuck?

After that I believe he plans to kip on over to the library to do some reading up on wandless magic while the Elder Wand that defected to him by flying across the Great Hall sings to him.

    3/5 for being grammatically tolerable.

-1.5 for what the words actually say.

1.5/5 it is. I suppose I can round up to 2 since 1/5 should only be reserved for the most terribad shit out there.

I haven't been reading fanfics long, just barely over a year. That being said, I've only recently gotten over (Thanks to DLP) the mandatory cliche reading trend that everyone goes through when they first start out. I am currently in the mandatory anti!cliche-everything phase that follows the must-read-every-indy!harry phase.

That being said, this story is terrible. I found this on FF.net a few months ago, couldn't get past the early chapters then. I tried reading it again after I saw it for review here, and then realized I have already tried to read this, so I tried reading it again, and realized that it failed hard. I did give it a legitimate try, I really did. And I am one of the least picky readers on this site too. I like to read indy!harry, super!harry, timetravel!harry cliche!harry, but this story takes the worst of all those genre's and none of the goodness. All it has going for it is that the writing is technically sound, so that does warrant a 2/5 rating.

All because you tie a pretty bow on a stinking heap of shit doesn't make it good, it's still a stinking heap of shit.

Hurray for my most aggressive review of DLP yet.

This is horrible, how the hell is Harry getting away with knowing so much at age 11 without drawing suspicion, for a character who is supposed to be smart and "cunning" he fails miserably.

This fic deserves an automatic 3/5 due to Flitwick's point of view in the latest update - regardless of some of the more horrid previous chapters.

Two chapters in and nobody expresses any shock or asks Harry how the fuck he knows all this shit.

It's more interesting than most anything I've read recently with a plot device that is relatively unused. As such, I give this one a 4/5

3/5, as I'm reading it as a guilty pleasure.

Flitwick's perspective on things was awesome in the latest update.

I agree with a few of the people in this thread. It is exactly the story I hate reading, yet I can't bring myself to hate this fic. I'm not sure why, but it actually was quite enjoyable to read.

    3.5/5

    -0.5 due to the lines:
Harry: "I'm going to have to come inside you"
    Malfoy: "Will it hurt?"

    3/5

I don't really know how I feel about this. The writing isn't perfect, there are some choppy sections where it really doesn't flow, it's an overused premise with an incredibly-powerful-for-11-Harry.

Yet, I continue to crave more. The character interaction isn't terribly done, and despite the Redo premise, there are enough 'new' things to keep me reading. 4/5ish, I guess - for the voodoo power this fic had over me to keep me from clicking the red X....for 26 chapters. In one sitting.
