I enjoy Jeconais stories, but more because it's a guilty pleasure than because they're anywhere near good enough to be in the library. So I really have to side with TheWiseTomato on this one.

 

In that case don't rate the story at all.

I am reading it as crackfic and I like it - quite fun, some ideas are new (absurdly wealthy Harry is using money to hire people rather than buy worldbreaking items, first task have a nice twist, handling of speed-up training [Sidney!]). It would be 5/5 but it goes to 3/5 for Kate as at least for me it was horrific failure in all possible ways.

Note that I decided to stop reading after chapter 4 as quality seems to be steadily going down and I treat it as collection of oneshots. I predict that before final it will be reduced to status of completely unreadable.

 

A balance between a decent if quickly tiring crack! Fic with lots of fluff and a guilty pleasure full of cliches and with many idiotic and flat characters and shitty characterization. The OC's would be passable if he used them only once, they don't even come close to characters, and to call them plot devices would come close to say that the plot is going anywhere, which isn't. It had quite good humorous moment, and some dialogues that I really enjoyed, but overall, only read it if you really like fluff, (mostly) light comedy and have a whole lot of patience. If not, don't try, the quality is dropping with each chapter. It's like he stopped giving a fuck about it a lomg time ago.

Personally I will never understand how someone that claim s/he is writing for themselves, and refuses to gives his/her best. You deserves your own best, really, if you don't think you don't try your best for you, what's the point of doing anything?
