The The First Blackfyre Rebellion is in my opinion perfect setting for GoT game. You're one of the Great Bastards and both sides what you to join them. Your decisions make all the difference. Will it happen as in the canon? Or maybe it's Blackfyres who will win. Or even, you pull the Littlefinger and try to win the Throne for himself? And the events are happening quickly enough that you have in game explanation why you can only travel to few Kingdoms instead of the whole Westeros and beyond.

I played it entirely and i never once walked after I got the broomstick, never ever once used thesaural,

always flew above everyone and simply dropped straightaway into to combat

the incredibly freedom of flying just anywhere (except freaking hogsmede) was exhilarating.

I think there's a mod on PC that lets you fly in Hogsmeade and other restricted places.

There was a PS exclusive quest that's supposedly the best quest in the game. I might redownload and see if it's now available to do on PC. I see no DLC purchase option for it on Steam, so maybe they just added it to the PC version as a free update.

I bought the Quidditch game they made recently but haven't played it yet. Reviews are okay though.

Tbh, it just makes me miss Quidditch World Cup :( That game was ahead of its time.

Tbh that is what turned me off buying it. If it was a quidditch world cup game I would of been all for it, but when I found out it was just the Hogwarts houses (as far as I am aware?) I was like meh. Felt like they missed a trick, they could of went the whole fifa route with it.

Anyone actually play it though? Is the gameplay good?

"And you won't need Malfoy money to enjoy hours of Quidditch Champions, because there are no microtransactions in the game" - from the Steam trailer.

I don't know what to think about the marketing for this is. It's a bit too self aware lol. The game itself looks like shovelware, and it's an absolutely bizarre thing to make in 2024. I expect that there might be tie in material with the HBO show whenever it comes out, and an add on for Legacy would have made sense... but this is something else. It sort of reminds me of that Star Wars dogfighting game that came out a few years ago, except flight simulator games have always been extremely popular. This is 30 euro. For Quidditch. I would hope that it does the noble sport justice, but more athletic folks than me will have to verify that.
