I have a small, growing list of rapes as well.

cadets2103 (lvl4) - Stupid stat build, got 30+ gold off him.
carman123 (lvl4) - Weak, 30+ gold.
linota (lvl4) - Weak, 30+ gold.
frogfish (lvl4) - Level 1 in all stats, an idiot. 20+ gold.

Newbs probably won't last long, so hit them while you can. And, Neo2b, wow, you sure hit the jackpot with your finds. O_O

 

I've done a bit of testing and there are some things that really stand out:

* Your residence, 3 of my 6 defeats were caused by their defence bonus (my stats were a lot higher than theirs). I think you'd have a better chance at defeating some attackers when your residence is upgraded heavily. <- Level 11 anyone?

* A horse, the other 3 defeats were against opponents with lower stats, but they had a horse. It'd probably be better to have one when, otherwise you'll probably get raped. <- Level 11 anyone?

From what I've read upgrading your house is a monumental waste of gold early, you're better off pumping your stats so that people are scared off of attacking you in the first place.

Horse is seks though, no argument there. I should have the 3k horse either today or tomorrow.

 

House is a waste because my character has to actually be there for it to be of any use to me. Personally, if my character isn't out bush-whacking unsuspecting victims, then he's working. So, he's never 'at home' anyway.

Horse is awesome. The better horse you can buy, the better off you'll be.

I'll sum it up:

No matter what horse you buy you'll eventually want to get rid of it and buy a new one in later levels, like an Arabian. You don't get back any of the money you paid to raise it's stats.

Welsh Horse at 3k seems to be what peeps recommend.
Fjord Horse at 4k for one extra defence point is better over long term. Maybe.
Pointou Donkey at 1k is recommended by one person in the last post. Everyone prior to that has dismissed pony/donkeys as bad value.

What horses are available to you depends on your char level if you're buying from the Stables, or if a player is selling one in the Stalls then I think anyone can buy it as long as they have the money.

Welsh is available from lvl8 and Fjord from lvl10 through the Stables.

I'm pretty sure that when you view someones stats before you attack them, it shows you whether or not they have a horse, and what that horses stats are. If they outclass you on a horse, don't attack. I wish it'd also show you their weapons and armour. >_<

Remember if your opponent has 7 HP and the horse has 5 HP, then your opponent effectively has 12 HP. All of the horses stats work like that.

Wow, lucrative hits dry up pretty quickly. There're a LOT of people sniffing around the lower levels. A 200-gold hit turned into a 17 gold hit the second time. -_-

Anyways, I have enough for a horsey, power-leveling so I can actually buy one now.

EDIT: Leveled, bought my horsie, and it does indeed kick serious ass. Here are the only decent level 4 scrubs I found, got about 150 gold a hit off them each time.

I'm just going to plunder mostly since I don't have the time/patience to look for targets - should be at level 15 in a week or so...I'll probably buy a ticket since they're cheap.

 

I came across a Narutard. An uber-Narutard by the name of Saeed. He's Lvl 6, I'm 7. His stats are 10 across the board, mine are 18 (17 for stamina). He's had 62 defeats and only 15 victories. He's a Christian. I've still got about 100 life energy left. I'm ready to steamroll him. It's not even a contest.

Yak gets pwned hard.

He deals me 96 damage, and I deal him... 6.

He wins and thieves 13 gold from me. I'm left bleeding on the side of the road with only 2 life points left out of 205. The only advantage he had was a wooden shield and a spear. I've crushed heaps of 'tards with the same.

I can't believe this fluke. Saeed's as lucky as Harry 'bloody' Potter. So, I down a 100pt potion, and attack another weak opponent with mild trepidation. I'm still wondering, WTF?

She did me 73 damage and I did her 35. She gets a miserable 2 gold from me. I'm left clutching my gonads with 32 life points left.

Bitch had a sword, leather vest, and wooden shield. Other than that, she was as pathetic as the narutard.
