Did he have a precursor? In a way. There might have been nothing at all if one summer he had not lost a certain guidance that all boys between the ages of eleven and seventeen require. But no, I digress.

That is a story I'd like to read whether it ends as a Honks or not...

 

That's ill, Fine Balance. I would read the shit out of a story written like that.

 

I've just went and gave "HP and the Black-Hearted Auror" a read, and received a pleasant surprise. It was good, it was surprisingly very good.

In fact, it's probably the best Honks fic I've read yet. There is definitely Indie!Harry in this, but except for a few minor cliches, it doesn't follow the standard Honks format. And I like Tonks' characterisation in this. It's way better than the one is "A saving People Thing" or any other H/T fic.

Only downside is the author seems to be taking a rather long hiatus, what with writing six chapters in the span of half a month and then abruptly stopped updating. I'm worried it might be abandoned.

 

Unfortunately, that seems to be the general case with a number of other stories... it'd either be a case where the author simply lost interest or real life situations(school, kids, blown hard disks... kids => blown hard disks and etc.) got the better of him.

If it's the first case though, I wish at least the authors would have the decency to mark their stories as abandoned but no such luck in the common case....

And don't forget Harry is related to Tonks by way of a relative somewhere.

But incest is best.

Instead of the "Harry gets abused and Nymphie helps", why not have it the other way around? Tonks is in a violent relationship but is too insecure to leave.

Or...Harry is excommunicated (If possible) from the Weasley's, Grangers. Not because they hate him, but a ploy by Dumbledore to lure Voldemort out. Then has Harry escorted to Platform 9 3/4 by Tonks but...shit hits the fan.

Why not have Nymphadore in Sirius' position before the Veil, he knocks her away and the spell hits Sirius.

Just gotta see in four dimensions, people!

Fame-seeking paedophile...hey, there have been less noble causes! And this way he could sleep with anyone he ever wanted to. Always works.
