At first I found DLP during my search for what is now called "indy!Harry", only joined after Big D's "What would a Slytherin Harry Do?"

 

I think it was something to do with Shezza, after he deleted a bunch of stories (the Ancient Domains of Mystery one being the only example I can remember) and I think he mentioned DLP on his profile

Someone on reddit recommended DLP

I like to search for recommendations on reddit for new fanfics. Recently someone on reddit mentioned that The Santi had posted way more here than on FF. It made me wonder what else I was missing out on that may only be on DLP!

 

Something to do Mrriddler. DLP was mentioned somewhere, somehow. Got here after I Googled it.

 

I remember first hearing about DLP on some authors recommendation, but I can't recall who it was at all. Took me about a year to register though for some reason or other.

 

I remember finding it via google. I saw how terrible people were to each other (the IRC was also pretty colourful) and immediately felt at home.

Shame I come here so rarely these days...

 

I saw DLP was recommended by Voice of the Nephilim while reading his fics.

I was reading Game of Champions and someone in the reviews mentioned DLP. It hadn't been updated for quite a while at the time so I came here to find out more about it.

First time I've seen a DLP reference was way back, it was in some fic, the poster complained DLP was mean or something.. More recently DLP was mentioned in one of quests I follow on SV, and that prompted me to actually come over here and check things out

 

I have absolutely no idea, probably from some random authors profile or something, 10 years ago....

 

I was trying to find a Harry Potter related forum. This was the first one I clicked on.

 

Man I found DLP a long time ago, I think back in 07 however can't be sure might have been in 08. However I don't quite remember how I found it, I think it might have been mentioned in an authors note and I Google it. I apologize for the terrible typing and format, I am on my tablet

 

I'm not exactly sure, but I think Santi's story bought me here. If not it was the ff.net community. Either way, I'm glad I found the website.

 

God... It's been forever. The old guard brought me in. Midknight, Lord Ravenclaw, Mordecai, Zev, Lord Sephiroth (now LT,) Shezza and so forth. The discussions, messages, IRC, AIM... Yahoo groups... They didn't cut it, on their own. Then some good ol' bastards decided to actually make the site. Joined right away. Makes me feel old, that I would be on this board so long.
