on ff.net one author mentioned DLP and I got curious

 

The Santi recommended DLP and the C2 while I was reading Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived.

 

I probably found DLP through a fanfic author, possibly Shezza or joe6991. I can't really remember since it's been so long ago.

 

I can't remember how I found DLP ,I think I was just browsing HP fanfics on google and then I lurked for a couple of years and eventually registered an account.I do remember that I used to like Harry/Ginny stories (to my shame) but DLP cured me and I can't go back even if I tried.
Except for some Northumbrian Fics.

 

I was brought here by The Santi's HP&tBWL, though I had previously heard about DLP as this horrible, scary place, though until now (based on reading of several threads) it hasn't lived up to this reputation.

 

I found DLP when searching for more of The Santi's HP & BWL.

 

Obsession with The Santi's BWL, but given my love of Dark Harry stories I suspect I would have ended up here one way or another.

 

Browsing ffn, saw it getting mentioned with some regularity.

I was bored and curious as to whether "dark HP fanfic site" was really a thing that existed.

 

I backtracked into DLP from Santi's HPandTBWL... Wonderful work, sucks it's going to be incomplete forever...

 

I found DLP years ago through my endless search for good and interesting HP fanfiction... never joined until quite recently, though!

 

When I was a young lad, I read trashy fanfics that were constantly bashed by this website. The authors ranted against this site in their notes and I decided to give it a shot to see what it was about. Been lurking here ever since.

Honestly I'm not sure, think it was through Jeconais story, ten and and a half years ago..
I must be a contender for a stupid name award as well!

 

A combination of finding the C2, JBern's fics mentioning it, mentions on /r/HPFanfiction and seeing Taure talk about it on various places.

 

I was writing on HPFF and someone said my story was too dark/serious for that forum and that I should head on over to DLP. I lurked for a good long time and then signed up.

Sadly my story was still too dark.

Went through a phase a couple of years ago where I ate up all kinds of dark Harry fics and found this place through Google. I stopped reading fic for a while, came back to it and remembered DLP.
