Newcomb mentioned it on his profile on FF.net, and I got curious. He just wrote "DLP" though, no link, so I had to take a round trip via Google to get here.

 

Hm, that sounds like something that could easily be fixed. <_<

 

I found DLP after searching for a C2 on FFN a while back.

 

Saw someone mention DLP in the reviews of HP&BWL by the Santi, decided to check it out.

But I came across this forum as early as 2007, I think. Before this, I'd been a little intimidated to join, I guess.

The Dark Lord Potter forums are one of those forums I find that is consistently linked in an FF.net user account. So after seeing it linked back here so many times, I decided to make an account and see what the fuss was about.

 

I found Dark Lord Potter just by searching Google, as I said in the poll. The reason I ended up joining is because I read on Reddit that Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived had more chapters here than it did on Fanfiction.net. I suppose my being here is a combination of the three sources.

 

I found it by just looking for good fanfiction and I found a couple threads I think the first I saw was the Harry/Fleur community.

 

Some people were mentioning it on the HPfanfiction reddit page, and I was curious- especially since I heard that some of The Santi's works are posted on here (chapters that aren't posted on fanfiction.net)

 

I was reading Nonjon's work, and he mentioned it, so I checked it out.

 

Found this forum through the HPfanfiction reddit website. Really enjoyed the library, though "The Alternate" category could be split in a few (Timetravel/Dimension Travel, Darker Harry, Wrong Boy who lived, etc.)

 

IP82 made me come here actually... but knew this place since long from Reddit, google and various other authors profile pages but never bothered to come here till now.

 

Searched for HP and the boy who lived and I found out that there are more chapters here than there are on FF. So here I am trying to raise above being a muggle so I can read the rest of it.

 

I discovered DLP more than two years ago, because several of my favorite authors mentionned it. I don't remember who however. I joined DLP, and nearly immediatly after I stopped reading fanfiction for two years.
I got back into fanfic at the beginning of this year, and I rediscovered DLP thanks to the C2. Somehow I managed to remember my old login and password.

 

I accidentally voted the wrong thing! Sorry. I found DLP because an author posted more chapters here than on ft.net.

 

I wanted to read the rest of The Santi's work, back in the day.

 

I'm an active member of the /r/HPFanfiction subreddit, and they seem to hold it in quite high regard.

 

First heard of it in an FFN author's note, back in... 2008? Somewhere around then. I checked it out, didn't like what I saw, and forgot about it.

Seven years later I stumbled on it again, this time on r/hpfanfiction and on spacebattles. I decided to check it out again, and found that I did like it now. Signed up, been lurking since.

 

I first found DLP in its early days, through Lord Ravenclaw. I joined, didn't know what to do with it and then forgot about it.

I ran across it again in 2008, liked the library, created a new account, liked the WbA more, and here I am.
