Fanfiction.net review section

I was reading a dark harry fanfic that seemed to be abandoned(no update for over a year) Some guy in the review section was ranting about how the author was only updating on DLP. So I came here and made an account.

 

I learned about DLP from random authors on ff.net talking about it on their profiles (no particular individuals). I didn't really pay it any mind initially. I don't remember why but eventually I got curious and visited the forum. I lurked for a while before signing up.

 

How did you find DLP

I all honestly I found DLP when I was trawling the internet and stumbled upon Methene's Harry/Fleur Community thread while looking for that's right Harry/Fleur fics.

Then I made an account a few days later and here we are now.

 

Don't recall the exact author/s, but was mentioned in author notes/rants.

 

An author recommended it. I checked it out. Traumatized ever since.

 

I believe I saw a recommendation from JBern in one of his stories.

 

Read the reviews for a fanfic on another sute, and it pointed me here.

 

I don't even recall where I first heard about this website, I think I was linked here over TV tropes fanfiction recommendation page, but it also might have been a rec thread over at SB.

 

Found it while reading Newcomb´s work

I found out about this site while reading some of Newcomb's work, I'm really glad that a community like this exists. I'm looking forward to find entertaining stories and to give my opinion (as good or bad as it may be)

 

Found DLP while googling why Ginny is Mary Sue!

 

I was looking for Azkaban!Harry, especially H/Hr, and found the Library.

has a (slightly snarky) recommendation for DLP on his FFN profile, and I have been desperately searching for a good source of well written, well-regarded fics, in addition to writing my own. And so, here I am.

 

In the reviews for Santis TBWL on FFN.

 

Heard it mentioned on reddit one day and decided to see what it was like.

 

I stumbled upon it a few times when I looked for recommended fanfiction or when authors on FFN mentioned it.

 

saw it being trash talked on r/hpff by supporters of HPMOR. i didnt like it much either so i gravitated here

I found the when a friend recommended the Ginny kill of thread. Since then I occasionally come back to the website.

 

I'd been looking for a place to discuss and share thoughts on fanfictions for a while when I stumbled upon DLP... I registered a few months ago, and never got around to getting the hang of it !

Since I'm starting to fall back into the HP world, I thought I'd dip my toes into the forums here ...
