I've been reading Harry Potter fan fanfiction for years. I've heard DLP thrown around by authors a lot but didn't really look into it until now.

 

Was browsing FF.net, and wound up going through jbern's profile. He had a link here. I clicked it, and have since been too traumatized to move on.

 

Was browsing net for more santi work .

 

I'd been reading fanfiction for a while, and had seen DLP refrenced several times in author's notes and summaries. When I was getting desperate for new fanfics, I came on over, and after scrolling through the forum for a bit, decided it would be worth it to join.

 

I found this site while I was looking for new stories to read. There are so many fics out there and I have been disappointed by many that I decided that I wouldn't pick up any new ones unless they were recommended by someone else.

This site had some good reviews that recommended stories that turned out pretty great. I lurked for a long time before I realised that it would be nice to help out and write some reviews myself. Help others as I was helped, and all that.

I saw people dissing this place on Reddit and I thought hey... If those pseudointellectual circlejerkers hate you guys, you must be doing something right.

 

Nonjon talked about here, and since he is worthy, I decided why not

 

I found this site when I learned that some stories I enjoyed had more chapters here than anywhere else, and were only accessible to members.

 

I was looking for good fanfiction lists on Google then I found the library.

 

I had seen references to DLP from various fanfic authors for a while. Additionally I had seen a recommendation thread over at Sufficient Velocity that recommended several stories only on DLP so I figured that I would take a look.

 

I found DLP from Spacebattles when I was randomly browsing Harry Potter fics.

 

How did I find DLP?

While reading "Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived by Santi", I saw his FF.net profile was part of a group called "Dark Lord Potter" and some googling, some annoyingly unrelated websites, and some time I found the website.

I simply had google searched Dark Lord Harry and found this site.

 

A friend of mine finally decided to read Harry Potter (I know, so very late to the game) and after seeing her so excited I decided to reread the books as well. Once I finished, I wanted to read more about HP, and remember how much I used to love fan fiction. So, after some Google searches, I ended up here.

 

I first heard of DLP when the author of a Naruto fic I really enjoyed a few years back thanked the people on the site for their feedback on his work.

 

I found out about DLP through google search when I was looking for good fan fiction.

 

I found it when I was trawling through the harry potter fanfics recommended by the list on TVTropes and one of the links led me here.

 

I know that I was sent here by an author... It might have been Lord Ravenclaws founder-fic.... Its been a really long time.
