    Seconding the half-Asian thing. JKR described him as having almond-shaped green eyes enough times that when Radcliffe appeared in the films, I had a moment of dissonance.

    Since we're all mentioning past blunders, until this thread I always thought the people on the book 4 cover were Sirius, Cho, Diggory and Harry.

    Well, Harry and Diggory. And I can see why Sirius and Cho might be other options, and Sirius/Krum could be mistaken for each other in this art style I guess...

    ...but Fleur and Cho are so vastly different in looks I'd have thought that gave it away.

    I found your post to be genuinely interesting. :D

    For what it's worth, the Book 1 and Book 2 covers are so overly "childish" in their artwork that it's one of the reasons I didn't pick them up until I was 17 and starting to care less than I did at 13 about reading "kid books."

    ...I find it disturbing that in that second picture, that Dobby is better looking than almost all the guys. Jesus, those are some ugly bastards lol.

    Although, that was a pretty good first picture. If I didn't detest H/Hr so much I could probably get behind a pairing of them pictured like that.
