This is just a curiosity of mine that I thought I'd stick up a poll for.

How many of you subscribe to threads?

Personally I subscribe to all threads I post in automatically, but receive no emails. Means that I can track all the threads I've posted in (and if someone else has posted in them since) easily just by clicking the User CP, but my inbox doesn't get full.

Edit: Lol, I voted wrong in my own poll. Should have activated "allow users to change vote" I guess.

I'll subscribe to threads that have ongoing disussion I find interesting, or threads I feel like keeping track of, but generally speaking that's pretty unusual. Often, I cbf to subscribe, even though it's really easy. Just don't much feel like it.

I find it extremely useful, especially with library threads. So as Taure I automatically subscribe to threads I post in and few more I am interested in.

I can normally remember if a thread was interesting enough for a second, third or even forth visit. I don't really bother with subscribing.

I know it used to do it for me randomly, then I'd get emails which just cluttered my email. No matter how many times I disabled the email ability, I would still get random subscription emails every now and then. Kinda weird.

I subscribe to most stories in WbA that I like. Then, topic threads that I find interesting. Thats it.

I subscribe to everything I post in, but without e-mails. I find its better than browsing alone, because you might miss stuff when browsing.

I subscribe to WbA threads only. Things like DR/DK/DL and the rest are subscribed to with emails. It helps since I check my emails fifty billion times a day and my filters send the different messages to different folders. Means I can immediately know if a story's updated... Or some wanker's posted in the story thread instead of the review one >_>.

10 or so message boards but I've never bothered to subscribe to threads. Always seemed a bit silly to me.

I used to, now I don't bother with cluttering myself with it. I hit new posts, if a threads worth following, I've got a post in it, click view new posts, there we go, lol.

I don't subscribe to threads, since I'll usually check just about everything new when I browse anyways.

I subscribe to stories like Denarian Lord and Awaken Sleeper, but that's about it.

I don't bother, with the no necroing rule most threads I would post in become dead after a month at the max.

..the alerts are annoying to me personaly.

I simply drop by once or twice a day and check out all the new posts. I don't bother with subscribing.

I don't post enough to warrant the use of the subscribe thread feature. It is however, convenient for those who are post whores and have the need to respond to the threads they have posted in. You could even say it encourages it.
