6.You can search for other stories by replacing the Harry with say Naruto ,for example, or leaving it blank.

A prime of example of why we need a facepalm/thumbs down button.

For one thing, OP's idea doesn't work. Another is that most people here care little for review counts.

Take a look at Dark Syaroan's review count for his Fate/Stay Night and Harry Potter crossover. That fic should be getting thousands of reviews based on quality alone, yet it doesn't, but it's still highly regarded and eagerly awaited for updates in the wba.

I think the implication was, to exclude things like !slash !emoharry !bottomharry and the like, you might want to have both the non-! version, and the ! version.

But, perhaps I'm giving them too much credit on this front, who knows.

 

Hey, it's not that bad. That's one interesting feature from Google that I didn't know - searching for a random number between X and Y. Not that I'll use it much but still...

Google is iffy for searching fanfiction.net, but then what isn't - it's mainly the fault of FFN.net. The "site:" operator usually works well for searching forums, though - I almost always use it instead of DLP's search, for instance.

 

OP, not only is review count pointless (because most reviews are 'OMG that is so funny! MOAR!', but your method does not work.

When I google 'Harry "Reviews: 1000..50000" site:www.fanfiction.net' I get 58 results.

...Half of them are for chapters of Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality.
