    Off-topic: deoderant and antiperspirants work better if there isn't a patch of hair cutting it off from the skin, so there's a hygienic reason for men to shave their pits.

    That said, this thread is as fail as that thread. Who cares about some sociology textbook written in 1941 - which says in the opening paragraph is largely bullshit?
