Title: How to Tell the Truth from the Lies
    Author: Lady Azar de Tameran
    Category: Drama/Mystery
    Rating: T
Summary: AU. Very few HBP spoilers. History books say that Salazar Slytherin was an evil wizard, but was he? One thousand years after his death, Salazar returns to save the Wizarding World. A Harry is Salazar story.

This is an amazing story so far - though I'm only on chapter 4 - it looks very promising indeed. What really got me into this was the great characterisation of Salazar, very well done and thought out.

    I highly recommend this story.

Not my story... started off with some interesting flashbacks but then everything just went down hill. Too much talk, too little action. skimmed through most of it quickly, apparently nothing exciting really happens, Harry is still Harry (way too soft) . Has some messed up pairings too.. Bill and Hermione?

Fix your text. Reading dark on dark is just a pain in the ass.

This is like one of those stories that's exceptionally well written but nothing original seems to happen. Slytherin being good is one thing. Slytherin being 'normal' is another...and this is what it seems like.

This is a well written story and the idea has great potential. The only flaw I see with it is that the plot seems to move at a glacial pace. While I understand the need to develope such a rarely touched concept (that Harry is not the heir of Slytherine, but Salazar himself) the first story ends plotwise with what could easily have been the first 1/4th of most fics.
4/5, for unique concept, and well written style.

Harry being Salazar is not an original concept...

Azar's writing style is very good; I suggest reading her stories. Don't dislike it just because of that premise. lack of 'originality' is a stupid reason to not read a story; original premises are much more likely to suck, because there's nothing to judge what's good or bad.

She's a talented writer, though she's on hiatus. That really sucks, since I'm a very big fan of Child of Grace, her fem!Harry story. Though it started out super!fem!Harry, and it's nowhere near perfect, I still like it.

    EDIT: Oh, goddammit, don't necropost.

yes she's a good writer, perhaps a fan of the Daggerspell, Dragonspell, Dawnspell etc series, as it seems written in the same mode.

Just for that it starts out 4/5 for me.
However, it does lose points for not having the separate time-frames become as relevant to the characters and plot as that writing mode requires, to be effective.
But having said that, it's still a decent read.. so 4/5 from me.
    It's enjoyable.
