    Err... This may sound strange, but... WHAT THE FUCK IS NARUTO?

    Everyone is going on about that, but I have no clue where to begin looking for it, except that it's some sort of manga/anime/whatever. Is it cartoon or comic book or novel or what?

    Naruto is a manga about a kid name Uzumaki Naruto (or the US versione, Naruto Uzumaki) .. Naruto is a ninja/shinobi/assassin thye dude and is around something like 10 or 13 when the manga starts... its cool... nifty attack thingies.. demons.. evil organizations... death... very good...

    Yes, but in what form is it originally? I'd like to read the books / watch the shows / whatever before reading fanfiction.

    Its a Manga/Anime... Comic book or cartoon basically... personally i like the manga more but eh.. to each their own...

    I saw a bit of Naruto, didn't really like it. Is it just comedy? or the special anime romance comedy the Japanese are so fond of?

    I got into Love Hina and Evangelion a while back. vash, I read your stories, very nice, though Keitaro's skills are a bit overblown. But I still liked it a lot. Now I think about it, those two are kind of similar to HP, main male characters are wimpy as hell, hence why I pretty much read only OCCs.

    But these two genres have some very impressive writers. Dark icon writers/"hawk" authors are really good, and Random1337/Rx7 is like the god of anime fanfic. He can write EVERYTHING, romance, fluff, tragedy, NC-17 lemons...

    on the topic of ginny, i have read a story that i liked, although it wasnt harry centric. called lady darkness and its a riddle/ginny pariing. not gonna risk posting for fear of getting eaten for posting non harry centric fics.

    :headshot: I'm only posting this for completeness. I'm starting find the H+G pairing old myself these days especially with the way JKR handled things in cannon. That said I've seen some much better fics than HP6 that managed to do the match without being disgusting. The one mentioned above by Jeconais is one such.

    That said, I should warn you that Naruto is rumored to be slash up the wazzoo. The anime fanfic forumers I hang out with are constantly bemoaning this fact, so take heed!
