Only the second good post-HBP fic that I have read, the other being A Second chance at life. Has a powerful Harry who I think is still in character, just more mature and darker, but not so powerful that its ridiculous (e.g. multi-magical animagus, elemental abilities etc.)

 

I like this fic so far, although I'm a little confused and disappointed on some parts of it,but I was wondering....Is this going to be a Harry/Hermione fic , or is he just going to be groveling after her the whole time? That's all he really seems to be doing with her at the moment and it's really bringing down the fic in my book.

WTF??? This story is terrible. Harry likes Hermione, and when she gets attacked everyone blames him and he keeps apologizing like he somehow made Voldemort kill her parents? What a little bitch.

 

I understand that your kind of new here, but really, there is no excuse for posting that...thing. *SMACK*

 

the story as a whole is not too bad. The one part I really didn`t like is when harry is apologizing like some looser,(I almost stopped reading there).
Also the whole chasing Hermione thing: for me it`s a bit much for me to handle at times.

Rostam, I would think that if someone wants to post a fic they should be welcome to post a fic, no matter what the plot or content.

I also have to ask you, are you an expert on what is wanted on the board after having been here for only a few days? I have been here months, and I wouldn't want to try guessing at what some folk want to read. Just because they are a member of this site, doesn't mean that they don't want to read other fics.

 

Just to reinforce what Mordecai said there are members on this site that will read some of the things you mentioned, Rostam. I have nothing against a well written H/Hr fic, and I know of a few others on this site that feel the same. Likewise there is section clearly marked for Severitus fics, if those fics were not welcomed here the section would not be there. If people on this site didn't read these fics there would be no links posted in those sections, and as you can clearly see there are.

 

I actually like a well written h/hr fic. I actually like h/hr more than other ships, however if its well written, the ship shouldnt' matter.

I enjoyed this story, and look forward to where it is going.

 

I have nothing against any pairing but I hate it when Harry is little pansy who cries like a little girl and I think, that just about everyone here despises that.

 

Ok, I just read the latest chapter, and Harry makes up with all his old friends, and they're all one big happy family again. I hereby remove all my previous claims that this was a good story.

 

Ditto to that What a waste of space, they just ruined any potential this story had!

 

This fic is shit! thank you for your attention. Well i read like chapters 1-3 then decided to skip to 6 and 7 because it's incredibly slow, but for fuck sake it's such a...well intellagent life hasn't quite made a word to discribe my feelings on this, other then shit, plain and simple. Went on to chapter 9 and 10 after 7 and again it is still slow and crappy, though i admit the dueling scene with Dolohov is medioca, it's still showing pussy weak Harry.

Beginning of this is pretty standard, pretty much what one can expect from a Post-HBP story. The pace is slow, and it becomes very hard to pay attention during the birthday party. Stopped reading at chapter 4, which was absolutely terrible in my opinion. Skimmed on a bit, and noticed improvements, but the forced introduction of H/Hr makes it very difficult for me to think of this as anything more than an average Horcrux Hunt fic. Didn't care much about using Wandless Magic to destroy Horcruxes, either.

No Lily/Snape here, which is a plus. But we still get the standard memories about Dumbledore planning his death.

As a side-note, the author changed the title for some reason, somebody might want to fix that on this thread.
