Is there any mention of wizards paying tax in canon?

No. The only mention of tax is in relation to the Riddle House, whose Muggle owners retain it for "tax reasons".

Is the promiscuity associated with Sirius Black purely fanon?

Is the cuisine noticeably different outside of beverages and confectionery? I can't think of a single incidence of a savoury meal being served which wasn't readily available to those of us who hadn't received our letter.

Pumpkin pasty would be an example of a savoury wizarding food.

The Slytherin table is said to be on the left side of the Great Hall, but is this from the point of view of the high table or the wall opposite of it?

Dumbledore's (allegedly) in universe introductions to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages both mention a sale tax.

It's possible the sales tax is only on the muggle copy of the book but the text is quite explicit that it will be sold both in muggle and wizarding stores.

Yeah... Dumbledore was actually dead at the time that was written, so I don't think the introductions are to be considered canon :p

Probably from the entrance, but I believe the house tables move every year.

I think it's actually after the battle of Hogwarts. They all go up there to talk to his portrait.

She's not there for the escape of Dumbledore in OotP.

Likely, she was there with parents after her petrifaction, or before she became Krum's objective in the second task (that one might be worth looking into - who comes to get her and Ron and where are they asked to go?). But definitely after the hogwarts battle.

McGonagall sends Fred and Georges to get them to her office while they're working on the task with Harry.

The evidence is inconclusive, not just regarding that table, but the layout overall. I researched this for my story, and came up with this.

It's still not perfect, simply because there are contradicting statements in the books. So the answer is, there is no answer.

Patroni take a form of animals (including magical ones), dementors aren't animals, so no.
